And That's a White Sox 4-2 Winner !

Recommended Posts

I'll take the win but my gawd those last 3 innings I watched were so boring. Those were two bad baseball teams. Wow.

I will say this ... why was Kelly so good tonight; announcers here said he was throwing 100. Is he actually good? When Vaughn hits a HR he hits a HR. Some miserable at bats always but damn those HRs are bombs. Crushed.

Kelly has great stuff, and when he's on he's damn near unhittable.  Problem is, you never know which Joe Kelly you'll get when he takes the mound.  He's actually been pretty good overall this season.

Gio looked like he was pitching with a purpose. Show these idiots in our FO/ownership a thing I guess.

Funny, the clown posting "Lu Puss" last season is nowhere to be seen.

Lucas Giolito is ranked as the 10th best starter (fWAR) across The MLB (2019-2023), and assuming he remains healthy is going to get paid this offseason.

Hahn will have another significant hole on the roster.

Only the White Sox could win a game and look awful doing it.

It looks like Jose might be reaching the end of the road but he’s had awful starts before but not sure as bad as this year. He only hit 15 homers last year and none this year  so it looks like he has lost some power. The other thing is there has always been a question about his age, he might be a couple of years older than stated in his bio.

Kelly has looked like a diff dude his last 2 outings, the last one before he want on paternity he was throwing gas too.  Unfortunately probably too little too late.

Hahn and Jerry showed Abreu zero gratitude or respect while the season ended last year. They should have had a Jose Abreu Day his final game. Instead he watched them get their asses handed to them 10-1 on his final day as a White Sox. The only Sox receiving MVP chants this season has been Adam Haseley.

The Sox pissed away far more than a $40M/2 year offer he likely would have at least considered to stay, including the $75M they committed to Benintendi, and several other players during their "multiple championship window." It would be one thing if this team was built to legitimately contend this season (or any under Hahn), but they had no intentions to field a competitive team with the several perennial glaring holes they bring back year after year after year.

Jose is a fan favorite, an MVP and one of the few who gave a s%*# since Ricky was fired, including the worthless front office. He will always be fan's MVP!
