mmmmmbeeer Posted July 16, 2023 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Dad and brother are down and we chose this game to go to. Not sure why as, with Strider on the mound, this looked like a sure-fire loss. Shocked we walked away with a win. Acuna is just plain electric as a ballplayer. Good game all around. If y'all haven't been to Truist park, it should be on your list of spots to hit. Too bad our owner doesn’t have any foresight and bought into developing the area around Comiskey. I have been down here since the last year of Turner field. Greed is the word why JR didn’t want the area around the new park to be developed, he wanted the fans to spend their money in the park and nowhere else. I haven't done a lot of stadiums but Baltimore is excellent, Boston is pretty good but Tampa Bay and Dodger Stadium( long time ago so that may have changed) were weak. Went in and out by train at night so not sure what Philadelphia had.
