My first choice was Foster Griffin. Royal 1st rounder in 2014, threw 120 quality innings in Japan last year. He just re-upped in Japan.

Amen to that. I'm glad they haven't signed any big names. Their fanbase gets livid when the Ricketts don't spend a ton.

The saddest part is that this is as exciting as the offseason is going to get....so I will keep hitting refresh until Soxtalk makes the exciting announcement.

Will be interesting what Hoskins gets. The Phillies passed on a QO for him.

Bellinger would be a significant add, though if any other teams are in on him the final deal will likely end up an albatross beyond a few seasons. The Angels, possibly SF, are the only other teams possibly in on him at this point, so they have a good chance on reclaiming him if he wants to return. The QO also doesn’t help his options, nor the Yankees and Blue Jays going with other alternatives.
