Just as I didn't care what Kopech did after being traded last year and won’t care when Robert is dealt.

I right there with you on those guys also, good riddance.

The X posts were hilarious yesterday.  There are so many people on there that live constantly looking in the rearview mirror.

Vaughn hits a home run, and "Milwaukee fixed him" or "He just didn't want to play for the Sox" or "Sox should have kept him".

Chances are, Vaughn will end up hitting like Andrew Vaughn in Milwaukee.

Someone said "water finds its level" but completely misunderstood that Andrew's level over 2000 PA is replacement level.

I understand the need to declare victory, but one game is the ultimate SSS.

I don't understand any need to declare victory. Of course I'm also no longer 20 and don't really measure myself by "winning" player evaluation arguments. . At 100 hours the pilot knows nothing, at 1000 hours the pilot knows everything, at 10000 hours the pilot knows nothing.

Not a fan of Civale, however, it's him or Clevinger, so I love the trade. If Elko is not the answer, and his pedigree does make that unlikely, the Sox have a ton of options starting with moving Vargas there and playing some mix of Rojas, Sosa, Colson, Baldwin, or eventually even Antonacci or Bonemer at 3rd. First Base, not a tough position to fill.

I wish Andrew the best and would not be surprised if the change of scenery plus the Miller Park effect really helps him.

The "not being on the White Sox" effect is likely to help him way more.

Is Civale gonna get mad at Getz/Venable when Civale gets bumped out of the rotation?

I would rather see a youngster get called up instead of giving innings to Civale.

I watched most of the Brew/Dodgers game yesterday to see that young kid pitch, wow! AV actually looked really good, except for running into an out (still some WSX in him). We shall see if he can continue to do well there or not.

Vaughn has a hit and RBI in the last three games.

He had spells like this at the White Sox as well, but they never lasted much more than a month, let alone half a season or a season.

If he does well at the Brewers fair play to him, but his time was up at the White Sox and he clearly needed a change os scenary as much as the Sox needed a change at 1B.

I don’t know if that deserves an “of course.” He is the first of these bums to look good. Eloy did it for a brief period too.

Sheets?  Romy?  Alex Call?

Vaughn of course has been great.

I will stick by saying it is tough playing for a shitty team with no hope, it brings you down and your stats down a ton. On a good team that is winning ballgames, you look forward to going to the park more and you just are into the game more
