4 hours ago4 hr Don't trade Carlson or Bonemer please. Keith Law (White Sox Hater Extraordinare) thinks Carlson has #1 prospect in baseball potential. The 20+ homer potential is what surprised me the most. Edited 3 hours ago3 hr by ron883

3 hours ago3 hr If the Sox were going to go big on a trade, I say screw all this nibbling around the edges getting a big-time reliever or mid-tier starter. Go BIG! Spend your capital on Yordan Alvarez. Don't talk to me about pitching, don't talk to me about Andrew Benintendi. Talk to me about premium talent on your baseball team.

The Getz plan is clear here. Stay the course keep building infrastructure, keep developing. You can't keep trading from the farm without a productive international system yet. Any top guys that they could now sign internationally are going to be farther away than Prosek or Thome.Luck was on their side with Mune and Peter's but that luck was a product of wanting more lefthanded power and defensive ability in Peter's case in the OF. Depth can lessen every quickly as we saw in the Hahn prolonged success all talk/no substance rebuild. Covid and the prolonged lockout did them no favors either when players didn't take the Covid threat seriously enough.

I know he played in Japan but so did Sasaki, who made it onto lists as the number 1 prospect last year.

Everyone is upset with Romo but there isn’t much out there. We just have to hope Quero is better this third time around.

I am not sure I would trade Bonemer for anything that is available especially a closer

30 minutes ago30 min Sounds like the Mariners are willing to deal from their starting pitching depth. Hancock being the one discussed in this piece. But they are looking for major league pieces for the offense as you would imagine.https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7466628/2026/07/23/mlb-trade-deadline-mariners-cubs-rays/?unlocked_article_code=1.z1A.clQZ.hffSjxHWzQVd&source=athletic_user_shared_gift_article_copylink&smid=url-share-ta
24 minutes ago24 min Sox also want a catcher. Obviously. The Chicago White Sox, facing the loss of catcher Kyle Teel for 8 to 12 weeks, are “working hard” to acquire a catcher, according to a person briefed on their plans.Teel, out with a high left ankle sprain, told MLB.com he believes his absence might be more like five to eight weeks. Either way, the White Sox would like to acquire an upgrade over Edgar Quero and Drew Romo.

They'd want a MLB ready player and we ain't giving them Sam, Chase or Braden. Mariners problem is that Cal Raleigh has been fucking awful and Julio was merely good, not elite, and is now hurt again (granted on a fluke play like Teal). Not sure why they'd even be looking to add, they should just let it play out in that awful AL West.
