Part of that nervousness comes from the schedule the Guardians are currently facing, and their starting rotation, also not to mention that they have a history to getting hot late in the season.

2 hours ago2 hr I wonder what the difference in cost for us would have been to get Joe Adell instead of Doyle? Adell has 4 HRs already since joining Cleveland. Cleveland only gave up a catching prospect for him and Adell also has one more year of control. He would look a lot better in the lineup than Doyle.

1 hour ago1 hr Nishida hopefully is just an extra bench guy. I wonder if Meidroth is the one going on bereavement. Could slide Sam into 2nd and Doyle or Grichuk into LF. Not ideal. Guess we'll know by tmr.
50 minutes ago50 min Against Texas, using a lefty opener seems like the easy call. It helps neutralize Joc right off the bat.
