Except there is a typo since he put an E in Quedy instead of the correct Quidy so both right !

How could you believe in anything but brooms? This team is insane.

Sox are amazing this year. Man it's hard to believe the sadness of the tank years has faded away. Sox have so much talent it's incredible led by my grinder faves: Antonacci, Meidroth and Banana Ball Man. Peters is such a breath of fresh air. Who the hell is responsible for bringing him aboard.

Getz is GM of the year; our manager is manager of the year. I still say Sox-Cubs WS is finally coming.

Carlos Rodriguez has been named an assistant general manager with the White Sox, joining Josh Barfield and Jin Wong in similarly titled roles they have previously held in Chicago. They report to general manager Chris Getz, who has gone outside the organization to bring in all three executives.

Rodriguez joins the White Sox after 16 seasons (2010-25) with the Tampa Bay Rays, including the last six as a vice president. He was promoted to vice president, assistant general manager in November 2022 after serving as vice president of baseball operations in 2022 and vice president of player development and international scouting from 2019-21. He left the Rays at the end of the ‘25 season to pursue other opportunities.

Peters, 25, was designated for assignment by the Rays on Tuesday to make room for the addition of left-hander Steven Matz. Peters slashed .266/.355/.429 last season for Triple-A Durham with 28 doubles, three triples, 15 home runs, 76 RBIs, 73 runs scored, 65 walks and 11 stolen bases over a career-high 136 games. He also appeared in four games with the Rays after making his debut on Aug. 8 at Seattle, finishing 0-for-12 with seven strikeouts.

Notice how close the dates are even though the Sox got Peters the day before Rodriquez was hired I'm pretty sure he had a lot to do with the Peters acquisition.

sweep would be nice, but getting some rest for the pitching would also be great, maybe the guys can drop 10 runs on em by the 4th inning

At this stage I would rather see the White Sox in the playoffs and have the Cubs missing the playoffs.

Hicksquidy would be better imo 😆

I feel good about the Sox starting pitching today, Hicks to Urquidy. I think he’ll be good, but if Urquidy is terrible or even bad, get rid of him. Thank him for that one great game against the Cubs when we needed it, but so long, see ya.

Are people aware of what Sandlin did for Charlotte last night? Seven shut out innings with 9 strike outs against a good Redbirds team. I say bring him up and find a blister on Burke’s finger to rest him are for two weeks.

A lot of tired arms. Go with a six man rotation: Kay, Fedde, Martin, Burke, Castillo, and Thorp or Sandlin. If Castillo throws another stinker, find a blister on one of his fingers too, probably until next season.

To tell you the truth I would feel better starting Thorp or Sandlin than tired-arm Burke.

Just win baby! Were down to the last 27 games and I don't care how it's done or how it looks. I don't care that the whole team, minus Benny, looked like crap at the plate yesterday. All that matters is that it was a W. They have to manage and play every game left as if it is a game 7 win or go home.

This is so great to have the Sox playing meaningful games in September. Hopefully the fans will come out in droves to the last 13 at home and help push this team over the finish line.
