ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct

Halpin, shortened swing, almost hit it out of the park, just looking to make contact.

Our hitters swinging so hard they lose their shoes.

That's why CLE advances and Chicago goes on vacation.

Boys, it’s do or die time tonight. I went into the home games feeling we had this series locked down, but for many reasons we failed to take advantage of a great opportunity. Attending the two home ga

If the Guards get an insurance run, it’s over.

The whole deadline destroyed any high ceiling this team could have had.

Discretion is the better part of valor.

Lose the battle, win the war.

Just remember fellas we were never supposed to be here. Rest your hat on that and let’s hope we can build off this season..,

Maybe I'm just upset. I don't know if this offense will ever be capable enough to get clutch hits. The pitching development is definitely subpar.

Colson’s got to go

If this ends like this you can look at the end of this season in 1 of 2 ways.

#1, if you believe this was a real playoff team, this was an epic and complete joke job up and down the roster, both to end the playoffs, and to end the regular season.

#2, this was a fairly mediocre team in maybe the worst collective American League in my lifetime that would have been exposed long ago and never gotten to the playoffs in any normal year, but got lucky to get as far as they did.

Or number 3, they were a good team that was simply young and ultimately ran out of gas.

What’s so ironic about this game. We walked so many Cleveland batters the last 2 games and it killed us. If you would have told me that we wouldn’t walk even one of their batters in this game, I would have put my money on us winning this ballgame. Crazy that we are still losing despite not walking any of them.

For me it's for sure number 2, but to lose like THIS possibly sucks so bad.

Yeah it's hard to go out this way when we basically had them dead...even though uts been objectively an amazing year

Only person who adjusted his swing like Ramirez did on the homer was Antonacci.

We’ll all get over this s%*# eventually, but your posts are far more valuable than this frustrating garbage. 😘

I think so. Someone has to be traded in a package for a starter

The crowd getting built up as the greatest thing ever killed this s%*#. You know they had to be reading all of that.

They 100% were. There was a tiktok of them dreaming about hitting homers to rile up the crowd. I know these guys want to have fun and that's part of what makes this team good, but an experienced playoff team would never let something like that affect their actual decisions on the field.

Muting the game is doing wonders. I’d recommend it.

Chase got too caught up in HR parade and totally changed hitting approach from last year to sell out for power

for WAR and salary $$$ good

for playoffs maybe not although he beat the Astros

They are young. This experience will do them good.

Burke threw a good pitch that got hit out. Offense is taking the blame for this.

Wow. Fundamental baseball. Imagine that. Moving the runner over to 3rd with less than 2 outs. Nice to be able to put the ball in play.

How did we have them almost dead? This is a team that found a way to always answer the Sox this year. Sox needed some big time luck to win game 2

Ozzieball, baby

Atta boy grant… walk Kwan and bring up Ramirez to rub it in one final time

You just can’t lose 2 games in a row at home after starting out 2-0 on the road. Period.

We had them 2-0. Blowing a 2-0 lead is really hard.

Intentional walk to load the bases with first base empty sure is something.
