Such a strange, unlikeable team. Hope the Rays make quick work of them.

They did this s%*# back in 2022 as well. I remember Naylor talking s%*# about the Sox. Like celebrate your accomplishment, you don't have to mock your opponents when doing it.

LMAO yes you did it’s right there in the post you quoted I even bolded it for you. Here, let me post it again in case you have selective blindness:

If the sox would have gotten hits in those games it could have swung the momentum.

See? It’s the hitters fault for not getting enough hits. By your own words. Thanks for the laughs, have a good night!

They were chanting “f*** the [Red] Sox” after beating them too. Ramirez was jawing at someone on the Sox in this series too I believe. Just a bunch of assholes. I hope Tampa mocks the s%*# out of them after they kick their asses.

God I can't wait for the Rays to send them home.

They aren't a likable team, guess it wasn't just Josh Naylor.

I'll give them one game, that's being generous as they easily dispatched a better Yankees team in a sweep.

The outlook for the off-season would be so much better without the Castillo trade. We'd also still have Boston Smith.

Without any real clues on the new CBA, I'm not sure how they'll approach free agency.

Boston Smith would sure make the OF/DH sitch a lot more interesting heading into 2027. Bonemer and Brooks Baldwin look like next year's big backups.

At least that 2022 team was supposed to be competition going in.

This year they squeaked past a team that was projected to be last in the AL, and their big flex is mocking them for...having fun in the dugout?

Baldwin can’t seem to stay healthy and it close to aging out. It’s likely Bonemer‘s gig to take. But damn, it would be nice to have d a positionless bomber right now.

Bonemer will never be a backup.

In the minors or playing everyday in the majors and striking out at a 30-35% clip too if they rush him up too quickly.

Yes I said the hitters not the pitching to fully blame. They cucked this series like the cucked the division. Plain and simple.

Honestly in this series Murakami showed why the rest of MLB passed. I wouldn't extend him. That's just my opinion. Great guy, great character but that doesn't win games. He would have to really show his approach and swing path changed to break the bank on him. The positives is that the Sox have some good arms and youngsters who gained experience in the post season and can learn from those mistakes, but the Sox need a Starter and another Bat, to slide everybody down a little. Vargas had a great season, very streaky he would disappear at times then hit everything in sight. Braden and Ant are decent Pieces. Colson I'm not sure about.

No, I'm not saying they're bench players. They're backup options to whatever they leave camp with, like Ant-man and BM were this season.

If there is a season in 2027, the White Sox will lose 100+ again. The entire strategy is "don't throw strikes because they swing at everything". This team sucks and massively overachieved.

I don't think Bonemer breaks camp with the team just yet. Baldwin is insurance in case they want Braden to spend a month at Charlotte honing his approach.

Someone is going to get trade between the Montgomery boys, IMO

They led the AL in walks. Outside of this game, they walked a lot in the playoffs too.

Now that the curtain has slammed down on another W.S. season maybe the Bears can somehow manage to gain the playoffs again. Unfortunately the Blackhawks are garbage again and the Bull and their new hayseed rookie head coach, are a total smash up.

Beat the f*** out of them, Rays. What a putrid performance that sours me for the time being. Sucks.

Key words: "for the time being." Gonna be grateful to wake up tomorrow morning, head over to Casey's for a large coffee and a couple of donuts, and start looking forward to next season!

Against a lefty though, you get his bat at DH and Braden irGrichuk in RF and that’s a big improvement

Grichuk is a huge upgrade. Braden is a child and he sucks. Bad strategy.

They struck out NINETY-SIX TIMES IN 7 GAMES. They struck out 75 times in the ALDS. What the f*** are we talking about? This team has zero approach at the plate. None. It showed the entire second half of the season.

These hitters probably do have a lot of potential, but there's no chance it is realized with this s%*# organization.

The season was smoke and mirrors. A bunch of mediocre hitters have career years. They will be s%*# next season and I would put money on it. The only guy who I have any confidence in, is Vargas. He will be gone soon too because no chance Reinsdorf pays him.

There's no excuse for how many times they struck out the past 3 games, but I don't know why you're choosing to think that a 3 game sample trumps a 162 game sample. They didn't even lead baseball in K rate. But they led the AL in runs and walks. You don't just luck into that. If you choose to believe that they're going to somehow strikeout 37% of the time next year, then you do you.
