November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 09:08 AM) Twins win per Adam Rubin per some scout from Korea. That makes literally no sense.

November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 09:12 AM) The Sox should go after Plouffe now. I think Plouffe would turn into dunn for the sox. Already there with low average, doesn't v walk alot and strikes out at least 100 times.
November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 09:16 AM) I think Plouffe would turn into dunn for the sox. Already there with low average, doesn't v walk alot and strikes out at least 100 times. Even if he did, I'd prefer that to an Olt/Saladino platoon.
November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (Dunt @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 09:09 AM) Go for Plouffe now Actually, strike that. Freese has better career numbers, no point in getting rid of assets when we can pick up a better player in FA.
November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 09:16 AM) Even if he did, I'd prefer that to an Olt/Saladino platoon. OK but giving up a bunch of prospects would be stupid if that's the case
November 9, 201510 yr I was at a game last summer, by the Sox on deck circle, and there were a couple of guys really hassling Plouffe. They were calling him Plouffay. It definitely got to him as he looked over several times.

Weird, I saw a tweet saying that it was $12.85 million at about 830 AM CT today but ignored it because it looked like a fan account.

November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (reiks12 @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 09:57 AM) Don't they have Mauer and Sano at first and dh? Twins are attempting to try Sano in LF
November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 05:10 PM) Twins are attempting to try Sano in LF you never finished my question.... typical.
November 9, 201510 yr Author QUOTE (LDF @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 10:12 AM) you never finished my question.... typical. If Sano is in LF, that means he isn't at 1B or DH...
November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (LDF @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 10:12 AM) you never finished my question.... typical. Excuse me? Typical? What are you talking about? If you posted something, I probably missed it. I did read a tweet yesterday I believe saying they are trying Sano in LF, but I don't see that happening successfully.
November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 04:13 PM) If Sano is in LF, that means he isn't at 1B or DH... this has nothing to do with Sano, he made a statement and i asked a counter question, he never responded. it is just he makes statements with out ever explaining why it is wrong, or his reasoning. the other part is me, i was in a great mood until i had my meeting. now everything went to the s***ter. so i am in a pissy mood now.... i am leaving today, b/c of it. i will be back when the s*** is off the stove.

I did read a tweet yesterday I believe saying they are trying Sano in LF, but I don't see that happening successfully. I think LDF is referring to the brief discussion the two of you had yesterday on if the Cubs were the winning bidders, what would they do about 1B with Rizzo already there. It's all moot now since its the Twins that won the bid. Just trying to clarify is all. Anyway. Twins lineup looks even more potent now with the power potential in that lineup.

November 9, 201510 yr QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Nov 9, 2015 -> 11:46 AM) I think LDF is referring to the brief discussion the two of you had yesterday on if the Cubs were the winning bidders, what would they do about 1B with Rizzo already there. It's all moot now since its the Twins that won the bid. Just trying to clarify is all. Anyway. Twins lineup looks even more potent now with the power potential in that lineup. And their defense looks embarrassingly bad. Sano anywhere but DH is a good news for the Sox. Sano at 3B and/or LF for more than a handful of games would be comical. Assuming Park isn't much of a defender, so he'd probably find himself at DH most of the time with Mauer at 1B (if they get the deal done). But Joe will need his rest, so Park will definitely get some time in the field. The Twins really screwed the pooch with Mauer. He is plenty athletic enough to play other positions. THey should have stuck with him in the OF, or at least given him a chance at 3B.
