It's your hyperbole that makes you such a douche.4 points
-
It would be a better, more watchable team, if they made about 5 roster changes now- Eloy, Mendick, Collins, Cease, and maybe Kubat or Lambert.4 points
-
Castillo needs to follow Yonder right out the door and off the roster.4 points

Your argument here seems to be "some people here think Madrigal is going to be bad but the sample size doesn't support drawing an accurate conclusion. BUT, because people do this, I can use it to justify a sample size of 1000 PA for Moncada to predict his entire career with absolute certainty." The fact is, the sample size is not nearly large enough to support any statistical predictions. And on top it of all, you make toss in your personal "I don't think" predictions based on whatever you feel supports your narrative. Go away.3 points

This is not something you could ever possibly predict. But yet you say it with absolute certainty. This is why people bait you.3 points

White Sox fans have always had a strange fascination with big white dues that hit homers and suck at baseball. I blame Bridgeport.3 points

Why Castillo was anywhere near the batter's box in the ninth inning is beyond me.2 points

He was injured (ankle I think), missed a game, came back, realized it wasn't fully healthy, and now is taking a few days off to fully recover2 points

I hope that's the last memory there for Nicky. I hope. I've thought the same for many guys the last 3 years, but like roaches, they just come back.2 points

Yonder has achieved Adam LaRoche suck levels at this point.2 points

That’s our number 4 hitter! Nice to hear some booing2 points

Dude has an OPS above .870 right now and there is nothing flukey about his numbers based on the quality of his contact. Sounds like you may need to go back to high school cause your understanding of basic math appears to be broken.2 points
-
It’s .886 right now. So, yeah, If say it’s in the realm of possibilities.2 points
-
dude be quiet you're incredible abrasive and predicting things like your all knowing isn't going to help your cause. You do realize that Yoan has an OPS over 880 TODAY AS I TYPE After like 30% of the season? You do realize he's still 23?2 points

I've seen more bad than good from Herrera of late to even give him that benefit of doubt. He sucks.2 points

Pretty disrespectful and excessive from Grichuk there. Lay the bat down after a meaningless popout in May instead of slamming it on the ground.2 points

Why not keep Leury in CF and give Mendick a chance at 2nd?2 points

What I was saying is that people without a plus fastball always have to prove it. With his track record, if Keuchel were throwing 93, he'd have a contract right now. Pilkington, similarly, is going to have to prove it and keep proving it. May not be fair, but that's the way it is.2 points

That and, in the world series for example, when there is that stand up to cancer moment where everyone is standing for a couple minutes. As Bill Burr once said, "there's a time and place for that." Like are we not aware already?2 points

memorial day weekend is now a month apparently. as if the troops don't get enough support every day. sick of military shit in sports.2 points

He misses on his fastball out over the plate at a disturbing rate.2 points

Also, in terms of the Palka question, he is not an OF option as this point, full stop. And if we’re opening a spot at 1B or DH by DFAing Alonso, give the job to Collins who has a much better shot of being a long term fixture. Palka had his opportunity this year and completely fell on his face. He’ll need a lot of injuries or trades to re-enter the mix IMO.2 points

So you're saying you think Reinsdorf had something to do with the train's scheduling Just to have people drive and park in the parking lots ? Wouldn't it make more sense to have more fans buying more tickets and then also buying concessions ?2 points

They waited three hours and it was still raining. You take the rain shortened win and don't even give the Jays a chance in the final four innings. Works perfectly fine for me.2 points

Yea some parts were frustrating, but whatever I wanted to enjoy it and did to an extent. Can't believe it's over, super excited to some day, in the far far future, read the books and the deeper detail in the story. This was and is a huge part of my life, there were highs and lows but it's been a journey I would do again and may still do all over again. Probably going to take a break from the series until the book comes out.1 point

Hmm, because I've been a White Sox fan for twenty-five years, and would like to see them actually be good, rather than employing junky players that don't help us win ballgames? Seriously, why do we accept this? A competent FO would work towards replacing these sorts of players, but we get Engel and Sanchez and Delmonico and a shitty 1B/DH type year after year after year. Everyone acts like I'm an asshole, which I don't really care about, but my desire is that our team doesn't suck. My random joke about a guy I rooted for when I was a kid aside, players like Yolmer, whatever their limited talents, contribute to this team sucking consistently.1 point

Herrera is awful now. Fastball gets destroyed regularly.1 point

Sometimes baseball is cruel. Yolmer is a likable guy, but Mendick deserves a shot.1 point

It would be nice if they would just end this charade that he was a baseball move. There are better, younger players who deserve those at-bats.1 point

3-0 with two out, I don’t have a huge problem with that if he gets his pitch. He just isn’t good. Terrible acquisition, but we all know that.1 point

WHY THE FUCK IS HE SWINGING 3-0? WTF. CUT THIS BUM.1 point

Will Moncada ever hit .300? @The Sir's column:1 point

I agree and I lost my dad to cancer way too early. IT'S SPORTS! The whole entire point of it for the fans is to get away from real world shit. We don't constantly need reminders that life is hard outside the lines.1 point

A log jam? Really ? 2 guys coming off TJ ( Kopech Dunning), Giolito, Lopez, Cease a guy who will be a rookie . Nova will be gone, Do you want Banuelos or Covey to be the fifth starter ? Rodon can't really be counted on for next year at all. That's way too many young, untested and guys coming off injuries . Don't expect the Sox to compete with that do you ? Need a lefty. Keuchel is a lefty. Perhaps 2 years (this year and next year) $25M is enough to get him after the draft, That's nothing compared to someone like Bumgarner.1 point

The Rain Gods are on our side. Don't complain.1 point

The development of giolito change up and the dramatic change in his delivery probably saved his career. Those are two huge changes as well. Kudos to cooper and the rest of the pitching coaches.1 point
