4/26 Sox @ Toronto 12:07
I detect a pattern in these White Sox games.

4/26 Sox @ Toronto 12:07
I hear some people saying the White Sox aren't going to win another game this year. I think they're wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox still win as many as 50 games this year.

4/25- White Sox at Blue Jays, 6:07
There's been a lot of gloom and doom here so far this season. Look on the bright side. The White Sox have to win only nine in a row, and they'll be a .500 team!

Five players you would keep to build around
I don't think there are five keepers.

In this week's power rankings, the White Sox are #23. How's the rebuild going?

White Sox at Rays, 4/22/23, 3:05 pm, Fox TV.
The White Sox should thank the powers that be for not playing in the East division. If they were in the East, they would 11 games behind Tampa Bay already.

I'm wondering if Robert will get another hit this year.

Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
Well, the Sox came close to winning.

Sox @ Rays: 540CT - Kopech vs. Faucher: The Turnaround Starts Now
The White Sox will have to play much better if they hope to win one of the games this weekend at Tampa Bay.

Phillies at White Sox GM 3 Serieswinner of Doom (Clevinger vs. Walker)
Winning one in every three game series is about all we can expect from this current White Sox team.

In today's power rankings, the White Sox are #21, three behind the Cubs. How's the rebuild going?

4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30
Vaughn and Jimenez have a combined 86 at bats this season with zero home runs. If Benintendi, Andrus and Anderson are added, they have a combined 248 at bats without a single home run. That's nearly unbelievable.

Jesse Rogers: Sox Sign Benintendi - 5yr / $75M
At best, Benintendi is the 2014-2016 version of Adam Eaton. Short, left-handed with occasional extra base power. Not bad, but nothing to be excited about.

4/14 - BAL at CWS - Wells vs Clevinger - 7:10 PM ET
I'm sick of this team, top to bottom.
-
4/14 - BAL at CWS - Wells vs Clevinger - 7:10 PM ET
Counting tonight's game, the next 19 White Sox games are against clearly better teams. It would be great if they could go 8-11, but 6 or 7 wins is more realistic.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
I think the White Sox will lose only 84 games this year even with this bad start.

2023 Predictions
In today's MLB power ratings, the White Sox rank 17th. How's that rebuild going?

GT 4/8: SOX @ PIT, 5:35 pm, NBCSC
Lousy play must be contagious in the White Sox organization. Charlotte was swept in a doubleheader yesterday. They were beaten 4-0 and 17-0. Yeah, 17-0.

4/7 Sox @ Pirates 3:12PM CT
Embarrassing.

4/7 Sox @ Pirates 3:12PM CT
Can anyone on this current White Sox team beside Cease pitch at a ML level of competency?
-
4/6/23 Giants @ White Sox 1:10 Game Time
Going into today's game, the White Sox team ERA was 23rd in MLB @5.23. They should drop a few more places after today's debacle. .

2023 AL Central Predictions
I agree. I think the White Sox and Tigers will battle for third place with records slightly below .500.
-
The White Sox over/under for 2023 wins is 83.5
PECOTA doesn't think much of Vaughn. They have him finishing 2023 with an OPS of .697. That's real bad.

Ghost runner rule now permanent
I think the extra inning phantom runner is the dumbest MLB rule in my lifetime.

Prediction of Win Totals not looking good.
The White Sox won seven more games than the Cubs in 2022. That's not a lot. The Cubs were active acquiring very good talent during the off-season. Besides Benentendi, the White Sox did virtually nothing to improve the team. They also lost their best hitter (Abreu) and their second best starter (Cueto) from 2022. Thinking the Cubs will probably win more games than the White Sox in 2023 is not at all far-fetched. If you do bet your house, consider buying a tent as a hedge.
