McGuire was everything I hoped he would be. Really called a good game. Good catchers make me feel that we are in charge.

Banks has looked great since I first watched him in spring.

He would make a good battery mate for Kopech. A young pitcher needs a steadying influence. McGuire has the ability to frame and make pitches look better than they are.

I liked him in SP because he controlled the zone and throws strikes.
