  1. His act has worn thin. Not a fan.
  2. Sending a runner like Grandal (slow with bad knees) with no outs is third-base coach malpractice.
  3. Injuries to Leury and Grandal have improved the team substantially IMO.
  4. The injuries to Leury and Grandal are forcing RH to improve the team with Andrus and Perez. Even God has seen enough.
  5. Hopefully, a new FO will make that decision.
  6. I hope you are right. The odds aren't exactly with you but that's what being a fan is about. You need to believe.
  7. Take 3 out of 4 from Houston and the bandwagon will be back and rolling.
  8. Teams that run out every play and steal bases whenever possible make us look bad. This team needs swagger but we look intimidated.
  9. We need to move on from this whole coaching staff. Watching a low-energy team play out the string is of little interest to me. The Royals looked for all to see like the better baseball team. I have defended the FO and ownership more than most but this has been brutal. I honestly feel that almost any average fan could put together better lineups and make in-game decisions equal to or better than LaRussa. I didn't like him the first time and he is far worst this go-round. Jerry's first responsibility should be to the fan who supports this franchise, not some employee he regrets firing 35 years ago. Tony's HOF plaque says "master of maneuvering lineups and managing bullpens"---give me a break.
  10. Comfortable in a low-pressure environment.
  11. Whenever a pitcher slows it up like he is afraid to throw the ball...disaster is about to happen.
  12. This is one of my biggest complaints about TL's lineups. When a lineup is playing dead...mix it up. I remember Leo Derocher drawing the names out of a hat to determine 1 through 9 in order to wake his team up. It's not like a lot of damage can be done to a team scoring 1 & 2 runs per game.
  13. Very true that we could use some "eye of the tiger" attitude. The team has that laid back...let's not worry...we'll get them next time attitude on display way too much. Relaxed is fine but the I don't really care attitude is very annoying.
  14. Moncada has this same look at times.
  15. Even the biggest cynic will have to admit he has looked really good in his two appearances.
  16. The smartest guy in the room syndrome.
  17. Kopech is more likely to reach that playoff-caliber than Gio IMO. Lynn is the must-get-it-together guy IMO.
  18. We are very good. Maybe not Yankee/Astro's good...but you never know what injuries and setbacks the other guys are having at playoff time. Get to the playoffs and have momentum and a little luck. Starting pitching will ultimately decide our fate and that is looking up lately.
  19. I agree he has looked outstanding. Obviously, the piece we needed.
  20. Gio deciding to go fat has been a bust.
  21. A rebuilding team can afford guys like Burger, Sheets, Lambert, Martin, and Zavala. I wasn't suggesting we were going to trade all the people from both sides. You already admit that Givens and Robertson qualify. My bet is Happ and Contreras would come up in discussions as well. Hendricks is very "dreamy" compared to Q if I am trying to win a few extra games. My "dreamy" remark is because I have doubts we have the right pieces for that transaction. Overall my primary point is the Cubs and WS make reasonable trading partners.
