  1. No complaints. Nice win. I'm sure the fans who attended finally had a helluva good time. Lot of clutch hits, etc. Clevinger is pretty good.
  2. I'm so over Sheets. He's clueless at the plate. That swing at first base stuff and a ground out or weak pop is really annoying. I once thought he'd be something.
  3. So many strikeouts, so dull. Baseball is nowhere near as popular as the NFL right now. It's a huge ripoff and bore. Tonight's game was ridiculous. What a dull blowout.
  4. How do you trade a guy like this? The guy can hit. Man I hate my White Sox now. Worst outlook for a team ever. Moronic to trade him.
  5. I used to care bout stuff like this. Now? Apathy. Not a huge Eloy fan.

Good point, Steve's not dumb. He knows this is hopeless organization. The radio stations should interview Hawk once a week to drive management crazy. He'll blast these horrible coaches, manager and players.
  7. It's almost like the Sox had to get rid of Burger cause they know he blows at 2nd defensively and they've got a flop at third they must still like a lot. Sad sad sad. We might win 49 games next season.
  8. No comment. I learned a long time ago to speak baseball on here. Wat are u risking?
  9. I get more mad every day thinking the White Sox dumped the only semi-likeable player on the fricking team. Robert is also semi-likeable and maybe Cease and definitely LIam. Geez Sox. ...
  10. The Sox brand of baseball is meant to push all fans to the North side. What a sorry excuse for a team, franchise. Glad we got that one title in 05. Eternally grateful for the postseason of bliss.
  11. Burger's bombs are the highlight of the Sox season and they dump him for one pitcher. Stupid. Poor guy has to play for the Marlins. No fans. Ugly ballpark. Yuk.
  12. Jake Burger for a reliever? One big LOL. Disgusting to move a guy build for G-Rate Field. I'm trying to figure this one out. I know everybody's hitting homer runs, so I guess Burger is not valuable at all. Maybe the Sox had to get rid of him to avoid further embarrssment playing him at 2B. What kind of trade is this? Obviously Sox are down on Burger. Weird trade. I'm so disgusted by the White Sox.
  13. Cause we should keep Robert and Burger, two guys who appear like they belong in the bigs and could be consistent HR bombers for a long time. Eloy I'd dump cause of the injuries. Timmy? I think I'd prefer keeping him. Go with Robert, Burger and Timmy and maybe Vaughn and see what you can figure out after that. You are right though. I could see a GM trading Burger for say, 3 great prospects. Can't miss prospects. I prefer we keep a couple guys tho.
  14. Lifelong sox fan so i haven't jumped ship yet. Just getting sick of bad baseball with no end in sight.
  15. I disagree. I know home runs are blase nowadays with everybody hitting 'em, but Burger really looks like a consistent 40 hr guy. I'd keep him. He can help a team win big things. Perfect ballpark for him too. Burger is our closest thing to a likeable player. He and Robert.
  16. I want some linguini to celebrate the acquisition of Nastrini. Not a fan of Kelly and Lynn, Trayce is no good BTW.
  17. Burger actually should be untouchable. We got something here, folks. And Robert of course. Keep em both.
  18. That's why Sox aren't winning anytime soon. ... I was talking to a friend who was all about the White Sox his entire life. Said he now can't even name the players. Apathy. I told him the pitching staff was unbelievably bad and the hitters pretty much all are easy outs. Couple fastballs chased then a cutter in the dirt or outside, whiff.
  19. Oz was funny last night when he said they should keep the team together and add in the offseason. Chuck said 'you are talking about the Cubs right?' Oz said 'yes, the White Sox .... they need to get rid of everybody including the parking attendant.'
  20. I never ever thought this would be me. But it is. I simply do not care. Long time posters may remember possibly how irate I got and made vicious posts during and after losses, getting in trouble a few times. When everybody thought the Sox knew how to draft during the tank job I was one of very few posters wanting/demanding Ws not Ls. Now I truly don't care. Why? I feel like the team and front office doesn't care so why would I care. That coupled with the fact modern baseball is so boring and expensive.
  21. Just saw the highlights. What a sad loss after an early big lead. This board musta been on fire as we blew the lead. Notice how good of wood the Cubs got on the ball the last 2 nights. My gawd they pummeled the baseball. This team could finish 30 under. Pedro, what up?
  22. His ERA is over 7. 42 Ks over 30 innings. Yeah he may reek for all we know. Second-round pick, though.
  23. Maybe. But Bush is a second-round pick of a good organization and Quero lit it up as a kid. I know you kid me about moving Anderson to catcher but do you like Quero's physique? 5-11?
  24. Angels no. 2 and 3 prospects: Nice. Not so nice: Can Sox develop them? Did the Sox get enough? I'd have demanded one more body at least. Now I know the two Sox pitchers reek many times but they are 'name' players. Not a negative Nancy but Angels win this trade cause we needed one more prospect to be called winners. Quero is 5-11, 170. Grandal is 6-2; Sal Perez 6-3. Our two new players definitely will advance to the majors which is a positive. See how they do when they get there.
  25. If Sox get swept by Cubs, Jerry should apologize to the fans for this season. He's so rich. And so cheap. He should give everybody a ticket for a game in August if we get swept. It's one thing to lose a lot but this team is so bad it's indescribable. Refund baby.
