August 23, 20232 yr 2021 he was on the top of the world. Once the Sox cruised to the division title (will anyone show up?) He was a shoo in for exec of the year. Reality was Injuries, poor managing, exposed problems and a three season slide to hell. Earlier he was a rising star within baseball who we wanted unblocked by Kenny before he left for a better franchise. It wasn't all bad but the bad that was is the most soul crushing bad that can't be ignored.
