HOLY s%*#, VARGAS!

Sox now have a Big Three. Mura, Vargas and Colson.
Dodgers got their ring, and Kopech contributed to that. Sox now get Vargas’ prime years, hopefully. Win-win.

And that's a series winning 6-2 White Sox Winner!
Looked it up. June 12 - 25. Swept the 7-game road trip en route to an 11-3 record in 14 games against Cleveland and NY

And that's a series winning 6-2 White Sox Winner!
I remember a stretch in 2000 when it was back-to-back on the road agains the Indians and Yankees to really test if that team was for real. Without looking it up, I think there was another set of home series against those two teams right after that for either a 12 or 14 game stretch. This reminds me of that stretch from 2000

Game 2 Twins at White Sox 6:40 Ryan vs. Burke
At least we have Nishida leading off the 10th

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Or maybe we’ve been too dumb to figure out those 2.5 miles the other way, judging by our attendance figures.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Sox attendance has historically been abysmal. So what is it about the current location that you think is driving this?

Ice skates are in play.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Let's just go for it. First over-the-water right field. Instead of grass, it's a glass floor in right field. Make outfielders choose between spikes and rubber sole shoes. Make it icy in cold weather. Or a right field that elevates into a foot bridge. Like that Houston CF hill, but on a larger scale. Any more bad ideas out there?

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
I like that after he missed the catch (understandable - was a tough play), he just sat there like he'd been traded to a 120-loss team or something. If you don't want fans heckling you, don't sulk like a 5-year-old in front of them.

Teel suffers LCL sprain (Pg. 5), out 3-6 weeks
Not in Charlotte, apparently?

Mike Vasil "The Wizard"
This is clearly something that is having a positive morale impact on the team, this wizard thing. This is the sort of life that has been missing from this club since 2021.

And that's a series taking White Sox winner!
Sox catcher delivering a dagger in Cubs’ hearts? Sounds familiar

5/17 White Sox vs Cubs 1:10pm CDT: Fedde vs Rea
New guy every day. Amazing

Official Chris Getz Apology Thread
...and we still got Fedde back.

And that's a high octane WHITE SOX WINNER
This is the piece that died off when TLR took over in 2021.

Meidroth grounds out every time someone is on base
On cue… first AB the day after this thread was started? Base hit with RISP. No RBI, but a base hit nonetheless

Trade
We traded away cash considerations. Let that sink in.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Urban greenspace could be achieved by having a convertible stadium-adjacent ballyard that is slightly larger than the Fundamentals deck. On game days it gets gated off for paid admission only. On non-game days, it is an open greenspace that can complement neighboring / adjacent cafes and restaurants.
