No fucking chance this team wins 64 games
-
This sounds completely wrong, but I have found myself rooting for them to lose. I want this to be an embarrassing season. I want the front office, the players, and the fans to be embarrassed. I want it to be so embarrassing they have no choice but to blow it up. Something has to get JR off his ass, and if a record setting season won't do it nothing will

Who would you pick to replace Grifol? Outside the box answers only.

Me! If we are going to lose 100 games anyway, might as well pay me a couple cool million to be the fall guy -
As fans what are we supposed to do though? I have been a dedicated Sox fan since 96. This team is just brutal to watch but my heart isn't going to let me root for another team, and I like baseball too much to move on. I've said I won't attend games or support them until Jerry is gone, but I know that isn't true either. I'll still want to take the family out to the diamond because that's what we do and its who we are. Guess we will attend more Gary Railcats games this year LOL

Who will be the 2024 White Sox All-Star Representative?
Slayer12 replied to KipWellsFan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
None of them will be deserving. I went with Vaughn. I like what Crochet is doing, but I don't think it will last. -
I only got to watch few innings here and there while at work, but my god I think I saw a record for swinging at pitches out of the zone. Some of our hitters look absolutely lost up there. Hope it didn't look that way the whole game. Not throwing any shade on Vaughn though. The at bat I did see, there were two horribly called strikes on him.

Not trying to be the negative guy, but I have zero confidence in this front office and coaching staff. In my eyes to even have a playoff caliber season by 2027, we are going to have to see major changes made, and most importantly, they have to make the right changes. Now look back at how many "right changes" this organization has made in the last 5 to 10 years. Makes it kind of hard to be positive, but hope they prove me wrong

"This will make us win" field
-
I was just joking around, I don't want him on the team
-
We are already a dumpster fire.... so why not LOL
-
This statement alone just confirms the suck we will be stuck with. Were we ever going to get Ohtani...no... but to blatantly not even sound interested is ridiculous

Are you able to reply to the emails? It would be great if the season ticket holders teamed up and had a clear concise response stating they won't buy tickets until Hahn is gone.

The Rockies might be more embarassing than Sox

The dude has to have pictures showing JR with the maid or something -
I get it, but does it really matter this year? He is on a team that isn't going anywhere and likely will have new faces in a few weeks. He has an opportunity to participate in something kids dream of. If I was him I wouldn't want to pass that up.

TA to bench. Remilliard in and batting 2 nd. No brainer.
Slayer12 replied to hankchifan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Agree that he should be moved down in the lineup. I personally would put him 9th, so hopefully when he does hit, we are rolling the lineup over with speed. But taking him out of the lineup is not the answer. He needs the reps to get this figured out. The man was a batting champ, it's going to come around at some point. I'm pissed off at his play to, but killing his confidence by benching him is only going to have an adverse affect on this organization. We'd end up trading him and he'll end up being an All-Star somewhere else. Now that I think about it, this is the White Sox, you can almost bet your wife on that last sentence happening. -
White Sox move up one spot in MLB Power Rankings

There is no way the twins are at 10. I would have them more 15 to 20 range -
I would love to take my kids to go see the Big Hurt. s%*# I want to see the Big Hurt hit. He's the reason I'm a Sox fan, but I was too young and lived to far away to ever see him play.

Opening up my mind to giving the season a clean slate
Slayer12 replied to Richie's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I just had this exact conversation with a good buddy of mine. In my opinion the month of May will set the tone for the rest of the season. We are currently hot, and play a favorable schedule including division foes. Not saying they need to right the ship and get to .500 before the end of May, but the headway has to start now. If things go well, I'd expect us to be 2 to 3 games back in the division. -
And That's a White Sox 3 Game Win Streak And Series Win !
Slayer12 replied to CaliSoxFanViaSWside's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I love what he said, and I love his attitude. This team needs more fire like this -
White Sox Winner ! Back 2 Back wins ! 17-3 on Dog Days !

Can't read Grifol's mind, but my thought was he liked the current matchup at the plate. If Robert steals, they walk the current batter. My memory sucks, but I believe it would have been Grandal. -
Are the 2023 White Sox the worst Sox team you've ever seen?
Slayer12 replied to joejoesox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Worst I have ever seen, but more importantly for me, it's the most disappointing. Found myself, as a fan of this team, wanting them to literally trade away everyone. There isn't a single player on this team that I have "fan love" for anymore. Our so called "Stars" play for themselves, not for the team. This team has no heart -
Highest chase rate in the MLB with the worse bullpen in MLB
Slayer12 replied to harkness99's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Then he isn't doing his job as a coach. Not holding coaches and/or players accountable is at the basis of all terrible organizations in sports. Prime example is all over this board. JR isn't holding his FO accountable for their failures. The trickle down affect has hit the field..... and now we are 7-15 and look like absolute garbage. -
I'd love to see AJ, simply for the fact that he will speak his mind. He will call out BS, and I think this team needs that now more than ever. We have underperforming, highly paid talent. Somebody needs to kick them in the ass. Feel like we have a bunch of Roger Dorn's on this team.
