  1. You watch 162 2024 Chicago White Sox games from start to finish and get back to me with your duress
  2. Sizemore would be great managing one of the Sox Minor League Affiliates.
  3. I will give Schriff credit for showing up and doing his job under extreme duress.
  4. All I have to cheer for is either the Sox top prospects or trading for other team's top prospects. Jerry isn't going to spend any money on top free agents.
  5. 29 would be active if they were attainable
  6. Pay your money do what you want. Sox fans cheering for losses is something I can't get behind.
  7. I would be interested in every GM's take on Schultz & Smith. Half of them will say, "glad they are in the AL."
  8. Did Benintendi's second half make him at least tradeable? Did Sosa figure it out? his last month .368/.388/.540 7 .927 OPS , if he did then 2nd base is covered. Will Robert be on the trading block? I think it would be better to keep Robert and see if he can bounce back to his 2023 numbers and then decide to trade or extend him. Ramos at third , Mongomery at SS , and Quero catching are going to be given a shot. There are still lots of holes to fill but the youngsters give me hope that they can develop if given a chance. Could someone like Tim Elko share DH/1st base and hit 30 bombs, who knows
  9. Put me down for signing Crochet to an extension, I like having All Stars on the roster. I look at the Sox having elite starting pitching with Smith and Schultz coming on. They also have pieces in place for a very good bullpen without having to trade for. They can add on additional position players through trades and F/A.
  10. Crochet, Smith, and Schultz ... dominating
  11. In the words of Les Grossman, " In the meantime and as usual Go F*** Yourself" To the so-called fans cheering for a loss
  12. Jesse Rogers?!? , really ?. To me he was and always will be a clown act working with Mike North. Dustin Roades is the current clown act, never to be taken seriously.
  13. Benetti will be stuck in Sewanee Tn, broadcasting the Millsaps Majors at Sewanee Tigers football game
  14. Lynda Carter getting out of the pool was much watch tv.
  15. What is going to happen with Chuck and Ozzie? Has there been any discussions about what if any role they will have with the new station?
  16. Benintendi's splits for last 28 days: .301/.372/.518 , ops .890
  17. Son of an MLB Scout with 36 years' experience ✔️ Former catcher ✔️ Former minor league manager with 8 years of experience ✔️ Heavy background in Player Development ✔️ Zero Kansas City Royal experience - - - - NEXT candidate please
  18. Sox Optimism: 2025 pitching far exceeds expectations and proves to be a huge building block. My Optimism: Win a 5 time Powerball rollover and buy Jerry out.
  19. The State/City is not going to pay for The 78 stadium besides roads, sewers, infrastructure. jerry can find a billionaire to partner up with if he wants it that bad. The Sox are not moving out of Chicago, isn't happening. With a new owner the Sox can thrive in Chicago. The over the air tv package is actually brilliant, it will expose the Sox/Bulls/Hawks to 650, 000 potential viewers that don't have sports packages on their tv's.
  20. I read the Athletic article and outside of the type of plane the Sox use any Sox talk member could have written it. Sad state of affairs.
  21. His best chance to win was 1969 with 4 HoF players and a HoF manager and they crashed and burned.
  22. I lived the whole experience as a diehard Sox fan. WGN TV and radio was responsible for creating Cub fans in Chicago, down state, Iowa long before becoming a Super Station. St. Louis Cardinals did the same thing with their 50,000-watt blow torch KMOX. The Cardinals built a loyal fanbase throughout the South. The direct contrast was Dollar Bill Wirtz approach. The Sox were somewhere in between with their channel 44 and complete failure SportsVision. I am not disputing anything Dick Allen said about who out drew who, Cubs or Sox. I have argued almost using the same exact words with my buddy who was a Cub fan, god rest his soul. I am just trying to point out the road that got us here.
