I was disappointed on some of the at bats when the Sox had Kochanowicz on the ropes. He was all over the place and a couple of first pitch swings got him out of jams. The Angels SS is one slick fielder, nice double play combo with the 2nd baseman. Too much Josh Rojas lately, he should be a late defensive replacement or once a week player. 2 out of 3 at the Big A works for me.

I get that he is paid to put out his opinion, but a seller could be going for the long haul which might take a few years to pan out.

Go for it. I have seen the Sox plenty of times back in the 80's and early 90's at the Big A. The Angels had some good teams when Gene Autry owned them. 1983 I went to the Bears & Ram game at the Big A. The Bears lost, but Walter Payton threw a TD pass to Jim McMahon which was the highlight of the day.

For a fan base that is as passionate as we are and has been pushed to our limits this surge is cathartic. I love reading the positive posts but also acknowledge what can be taken as negative as reality. This team, today, with the present core and manager is light years ahead of the team on 8/1/2024.

Does anyone have ideas on the Sox 2026 pitching staff ? Who do you think gets promoted from the minors and who will be coming off the IL list.

I think 2 of the guys you want to keep, Benny & Tauchman, probably have no interest from other teams. Benny's contract and Tauchman's age and wheels are in question, so I don't see them going anywhere. Houser will get traded but so far, it's quiet on Robert. I think Getz's game plan is to draft, development, work the scrap heap and flip. Stock up the minors and be a buyer in the next couple of years. Enjoy this team now for what they are doing with the youngster's development. Look at Montgomery's stats since the All-Star break, but also work with Sosa and Vargas on fielding.

Glad to see Duran out of the AL Central

After the 2023 season the O's looked so promising to go on a run.

I never saw Colson Montgomery coming up, especially after being sent to AZ. I agree that RF most likely will be a stop gap unless a Robert or Howser trade brings someone onboard.

Do you think Braden Montgomery will be ready to start the 2026 with the White Sox?

I would think the Sox give Taylor a shot at starting next year.
