I can't remember this many kids coming up and succeeding this quickly. Very small sample size, but man is it nice after watching every big prospect the last 20 years "struggle" to get acclimated. Why are they coming up in waves without really having a drop off? Is it the teams winning environment?

This season with the freak injuries has taught me that no one is truly blocked. They will trade some of these kids, I just hope our scouts pick the right ones to keep.

It's a long season and this team's player leadership won't let them fail. They just have to stay afloat until guys return. Make the playoffs and anything can happen with our rotation. *Robert is coming back this year, right?

Let him finish the year. If he stays healthy and continues to play near this level, then you qualify him. He'd be foolish not to accept. Odds are he'll stay in shape again and be motivated to earn his big deal. For the record, I wouldn't want to be the team that signs him long term. Just not sure he'd stay committed physically.

If he keeps this up, I'd qualify him. That keeps him another year and he'll stay motivated to show up in shape again for another free agent season.
