  1. I wouldn’t doubt there’s been like a 6-8 game stretch this year where they only scored 12 total runs.
  2. Judging by the last series, it takes exactly three games.
  3. Not being a smart ass, but how are they our most comparable franchise? I never heard that. Still, that man is a national treasure.
  4. That sounds like the makings of Miami fighting to get in/getting hot at the right time and riding it deep into the playoffs. Conversely, it has the makings of the Cubs backing into the playoffs and getting bounced quickly.
  5. Alan Williams, or someone in his household, may or may not have been caught with CP, running a gambling ring, fixing games, defrauding the PPP program, or any number of other possible crimes, which led to his home and/or Halas Hall or neither being raided by the FBI, and the Bears and journalists may or may not have known what happened and possibly refuse to say it. That’s pretty much a summary of the rumors.
  6. Wouldn’t the porn fan likely be the incel, and the married guy with three kids would be the opposite? I’m not arguing that he’s not crazy or evangelical, but words have meanings.
  7. Sounds good to me.
  8. Stealing a World Series didn’t do it for you? ?
  9. This comes at an awful time for the Bears in more ways than one. And if it comes out that they were being evasive and cutesy with their responses, I feel like it’s going to turn a lot of fans against them.
  10. Sorry, should have said refuted by an independent source. A lawyer will flat-out lie to the media.
  11. It’s hard to believe at this point that something illegal didn’t occur. What it was is still unknown. I know the Bears’ statement on Williams leaving pretty much just said that he’s no longer with the team. They didn’t wish him luck or anything showing support, which screams that it’s not just Williams bowing out.
  12. Also, it looks like the McAfee tweet only mentions a raid on Williams’ house, which I don’t think has been refuted.
  13. What exactly did they say? Sorry to ask others to do the work on this. There are cute ways you can word things to make it seem like a denial. Say, perhaps they allowed the FBI (or whoever) access to the office without a warrant or something along those lines. Then they can say they weren’t raided.
  14. If you’re talking about the Wilder stuff, this could be wilder.
  15. And if it’s for what I assume/the speculation I’m hearing, the Bears immediately become the most embarrassing.
  16. With them raiding both his home and office, it makes me think they were after computers. And I’ll leave it to you to speculate why, but I guarantee I already know what they were looking for.
  17. Another Chicago franchise just absolutely embarrassing themselves. Awesome.
  18. Man, that Quiet Riot commercial is depressing.
  19. Anderson still only has one homer? I figured he probably had a couple since he hit that first one. Yikes.
  20. I’m feeling the same way. And as I was responding, the Sox give up a pinch-hit home run to lose the lead ?
  21. You’ve put in plenty of time, both in real life and on this site. You’ve earned being mad.
  22. You’re not taking exchange rate into account.
  23. They’re too busy slapping the s%*# out of each other in the stands to notice.
