  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2015 -> 11:35 PM) Was that Jenks' necklace that went flying after the final out of the WS? Almost looks like it was in his hand as soon as he threw the last pitch I rewound that so many times. Definitely is. Was weird that I noticed it last night for the first time ever. I'm confused how it got to his hand though after he pitched the ball from it.
  2. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 12, 2015 -> 09:13 PM) I have a friend who's dad has worked for the Sox for years and one day he told me that when Buehrle came in for the save in game 3 in Houston, he had been drinking. I said no way. What Garland just said has confirmed that. Unreal. I did a double take when he said that, and rewound to confirm. Wow.
  3. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Apr 12, 2015 -> 01:39 AM) I would imagine there are plenty of playoff teams that have lost 4 in a row at some point during a season. Say we win six in a row now. I'm sure there are plenty of playoff teams that have won at a 60% clip Get off the ledge people. We have a lot of good players. It seems like it can work. 60 percent is 97 wins. That's playoffs for sure.
  4. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 01:51 PM) I need help as well. I'm in Oak Lawn and I have comcast but no tv, so I have to watch on my computer. How to I find the livestream for sox games, such as today's game on WGN??? I keep getting the news. Am I blacked out??? You don't. MLB games do not stream online in market.
  5. QUOTE (kapzk @ Apr 11, 2015 -> 03:56 PM) Can they review if the lane is blocked? Yes
  6. Soto is playing real well today and he bats shuck. Wtf
  7. Let's give samardzija credit where credit is due. Dude pitched his ass off after the second inning.
  8. Why can none of our pitchers work themselves into pitchers counts. So sick of 2-0 2-1
  9. Lifeless baseball being played by us all week. What a joke. Someome needs to get pissed off.
  10. Majority of teams that start 0-4 are s***. I guarantee a decent majority of most playoff teams hit a 4 game skid at some point during the season. Ours just happened the first four games.
  11. Great game just ruined by officiating. What a joke.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 05:40 AM) It's here! This is awesome. This is awesome This is awesome
  13. We've had a few predictions thread, but this one is always the best one. I'll start. Jose Abreu will only hit 22 homers, but will lead the league in average and .obp with 100+RBI Micah Johnson leads the AL in stolen bases and hits over .315 John danks is a respectable 5th starter.
  14. How are they working pitching? Samardzija for the opener Quintana Danks Noesi for the home opener Then samardzija again Then sale? Wouldn't they eventually want samardzija between Quintana and sale?
  15. I would be all over this if it was another two month portion of the season. Guess my 14 game plan will have to do.

    2015 TV Thread

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 31, 2015 -> 08:02 PM) So the other bodyguard who was giving Mike s*** about my having a gun. That has to be the guy who played Trevor in GTA 5. Looks and sounds just like him. Googling now. The guy mike was protecting looked just like Lester from GTA. But not the same guy.
  17. Played it last night. Online lag seems almost non existent, and last year it was unplayable.
  18. Already have it downloaded on the system, just have to wait until 11 to fire it up.
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 27, 2015 -> 01:45 PM) Then answer this. If he plays out the season, really likes playing for the White Sox but they offer him $20 million less than another team he has never played for, so any of this "getting to know each other" would start all over again, do you really think he would sign with the White Sox? The fact is, he says he has to "get to know" the White Sox, but when he is a free agent, unless he signs with a team he has already played with, he already knows more about the White Sox, than he does that team. It is about the money. The White Sox may be able to be short, but only slightly. You don't risk what he is risking carrying this out to free agency if money isn't one of the highest priorities. He can sign right now for more money than he or a couple of generations of his family will ever need. All these "reading between the lines" posts are fantasy. He said he doesn't want to discuss a contract during the season. He wants to be a free agent. That isn't a guy who seems destined to stay. Why would you sign a massive contract with a team before feeling them out? Obviously that's an advantage you have, he can't do that this offseason with teams . But he can make sure he doesn't get stuck in a disaster or a place he doesn't like for 6 years right now. Might as well take that time.
  20. The outrage in this thread... Who cares.
  21. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 07:57 PM) Betting money would be on Bryant, but you never know.....they're going to have to pitch to Jose this year, provided LaRoche and Avisail and Alexei/Conor (to a lesser extent) are forcing opposing to teams to pay for pitching around him, or at least trying to limit him to singles and doubles rather than homers. I would imagine if this was a an actual bet Abreu would be the favorite. So I don't think your first line is right.
  22. Who hits more homers this year abreu or Bryant?
