  1. Cancer insurance is usually a separate policy. I know Lloyds of London is the one who specializes in this kind of oddball one off insurance so who knows what is possible here and what the Sox felt was worth paying to cover.
  2. If anything, I bet it does the opposite.
  3. Wow. Hope for the best, baseball is secondary.
  4. Look if getting called out by Michael Jordan didn't change anything, this is a bug on his windshield.
  5. Sox are worth 1.76 billion, and lost $10m in 21 https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeozanian/2022/03/24/baseballs-most-valuable-teams-2022-yankees-hit-6-billion-as-new-cba-creates-new-revenue-streams/?sh=e126d51600a2

  15. Not to mention, insurance cost is tied to risk. A policy like this is probably insanely expensive anyway, even if it was insurable. The quants who do those things for a living are really good at making sure the insurance companies come out ahead on everything in the long run.
  16. Invite to spring training I could get with. He at least has had some success in recent years. I think the physical would be key here. If he really is physically unable, that probably excludes him.
  17. And unfortunately it is a complete lack of transparency and honest that leave people with educated guesses and speculation. Of course local media could ask a hard question, but that won't happen.
