I remember watching the Field of Dreams gane thinking this team was going to be fun for years. Little did I know it would all be over a little more than a month later.

Pitching has been really good lately. Did we get a South Side Staaaaand up today? Seems he's only using it in a more appropriate manor, like when they won their 4th in a row. That win, win, win, win thing he had last night was pretty good.

I must say the dome by the lake is a pretty cool design. The glass wall is cool, but I wonder how many birds would fly right into it.

For a team that should have a totally rested bullpen, the bullpen usage this first game has been weird. Maybe someone is hurt or sick, by why Anderson and why multiple innings for Brebbia?

She isn't listed on the BoD because no one has been added to the White Sox BoD in over 40 years. Once someone dies, the Board shrinks. Whether she is a part owner of the White Sox, I agree, none of us really know.

His whiff rate is a fraction of what it was in AA. Maybe he’s a freak and needed better competition, but I think eventually his lack of experience will be exposed and most will want him playing 3B in Charlotte. He has done a lot better up to this point, than I could have imagined.

It’s a lot more fun when they win. South Side Stand Up even made a comeback.

If Schriffen was hired by the Cubs, he would be the most annoying announcer of all time.

The other day he said a White Sox put a charge into one, it was a 260 ft. Pop up to left center.

I just don't think Aaron Bummer and the almost $7 million he was owed was going to get you anything. And the Sox really had no reason to pay someone of his ilk $7 million because unless something crazy happened, they were going to buy him out. A recurring theme with all of Rick Hahn's extensions.

From what I read the Sox wound up paying Grossman about $80k more than they would have had to pay someone making minimum. I agree we probably will forget the guy even exists in a month, but 80k is worth a shot, especially since Grossman was just going to collect dust as the season rolled on anyway.

It's never pointless, but I do say anyone's total effectiveness would be severely diminished by JR's meddling.

This guy might not work out, but signing Grossman accomplished something.

To me it was worth the gamble on Soroka snapping back to being pretty good. It's Aaron Bummer who is owed some decent money. It didn't work out, but it made some sense. I would rather have Shuster than Bummer on the 2024 and 2025 White Sox.
