Nobody suggested having a biomechanist was a bad thing and especially not "modernizing". The point was Getz hires a new one every year to replace someone who was touted as an upgrade. And nobody suggested it was only arms. We've had a ton of soft tissue injuries too. Maybe these guys' studies provide great data and the training staff doesn't know how to implement the data. Maybe the data shows that Taylor's extension is more likely to lead to injury than not, although there plenty of anecdotal evidence that may not be true. Who knows why we've had so many injuries (of all varieties), but something isn't working somewhere. Maybe Herm just got lucky all those years.
