I would love to see that. I know he’s a 1B only guy, but he’s definitely one of my favorite prospects at Great Falls.

At least Cordell is getting a workout out there.

I’d sleep easier at night if we somehow locked him for the next eight years or so.

He always had the plate discipline and raw power you’d like to see out of a 1B prospect, it was just the in-game power holding him back. If he’s figured that out, he most definitely can be a key piece for us going forward.

Sheets is on fucking fire. A.J. Reed better enjoy his opportunity, because Gavin isn’t going to let it last for long.

Luis Robert kills it in his first game in AAA

Exactly. I just don’t get it man. -

I’m not a big Hahn fan by any means, but blowing up a shit product has put us in a pretty good spot. We are so close to finally realizing “sustained success” and if that requires moving a few guys under short-term control than so be it. The team is 100% planning on competing in 2020 and anyone traded will be replaced one way or the other. -

You are actually suggesting you’d like to see your favorite team punished for making baseball moves that aren’t short-termed focused. People have differing options than me all the time, but never in my life have I seen a more bizarre position and one that’s almost unfathomable to be legitimate. -

I have never seen such blatant trolling in my entire life. -

100% agree. Either do it by Aug 1st or wait until mid April of next year. -

Wow, you really don’t get it do you. I’d love to say more, but fear a suspension if I were to get any more candid. -

Jesus dude, just STFU for once. You are almost as bad as FootlongComiskeyDog with your relentless negativity. -
Sox claim 1b A.J. Reed off waivers AND send him to majors
Chicago White Sox replied to smalls2598's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Are you really using career slash to compare a guy who is two years older and has played at a level behind Collins each year? Also, well over half of Zack’s plate appearances have been in AA or above, whereas less than 30% of Mercedes’ have been above A+. That’s a really bad way to assess these guys. -
I’m pretty sure guys on the 40 man roster have both major league and minor league deals, at least until they hit arbitration.
-
Everyone has a price. The Astros don’t really need him, but if they offered Kyle Tucker then MCann would be as good as gone tomorrow and I’d make Grandal an offer he couldn’t refuse in the offseason.
-
There’s a reason they promoted Robert and not Madrigal IMO and it’s because they plan on calling up Luis in a few weeks if he absolutely mashes in AAA.
