Quin

Cal Quantrill, Ty France, Franmil Reyes are worth 8.8 Preller's reputation is pretty much built on fleecing the Tatis trade and building a good farm, but man, his trade record is looking more and more like he just loves buying shiny toys. If we were PadresTalk, we'd be ripping our hair out over trading Turner, Fried, and Grandal for Myers, Kemp, and Justin Upton.

Vaccines haven't been controversial (in the mainstream, at least) until recent years, and that's because of people trying to make money. Before COVID, we got a measles outbreak in New York City.

Trump was going to get every single thing humanly possible to save him. He was the damn president. Here's everything he got: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-54418464 You know what he didn't get from the doctors at Walter Reed? Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. The former host of Fear Factor took horse medication, yes. He also took monoclonal antibodies, which are far, far more important.

Yeah, hydroxychloroquine made sense until they got data and then the data was like "doesn't do anything to help COVID, but people with lupus can't get this drug now."

Also, scientists and some (definitely not all) politicians have been sounding alarms on rising obesity for years now. I love when I see a CDC recall on ice cream, especially Blue Bell, it's like: "I'LL EAT ALL THE DAMN BLUE BELL I WANT." CDC recall on lettuce: "TOLD YOU LETTUCE WAS BAD."

Also Joe Rogan's YouTube channel that posts the snippets. "Masks are for bitches." "It's what men do. We make fun of...things." Joe Rogan is controversial on purpose cause it makes Joe Rogan money.

15-25 since they acquired Frazier.

This is now a Kelenic/Trammell/Kyle Lewis thread.

Man, I appreciate your depth of knowledge to understand all the roster jockeying Hahn has made this year.

I genuinely wonder how different the Sox record this year is if the runner on second in extra innings rule didn't exist.

I like the confidence. After all, the Sox do have a good playoff history at Minute Maid.

Based pretty much on these two alone, I'd roll up with Rodon-Giolito-Lynn-Cease if we're on the road. In a picture perfect world, that sets you up for Lynn to close it out at home. Plus, I think of all the pitchers, Rodon might get the biggest "good" adrenaline boost from pitching Game 1.

Third word in the post is "juvenile." But I went back and looked at what the ask was according to Reddit Insider Man: It was Madrigal, Heuer, Stiever, Thompson and then the Brewers came back asking for Crochet. Also worth noting Rodon hadn't resigned, so you're not replacing Keuchel in the rotation, you're replacing Rodon. You're swapping in Burnes for Rodon, Mendick for Madrigal way earlier, I guess ReyLo for Heuer (and who knows which ReyLo that is. I don't know if Charlotte was good or bad for him), and...Mike Wright/Kyle Crick for Crochet? If it was just Madrigal, Heuer and minor leaguers + you could keep Rodon and jettison Keuchel, by all means, do that all day every day. But it's not a vacuum.

If I had to take a stab at it, maybe it's because the scouts putting those grades together think he can't put it all together? Kind of like a less than the sum of his parts scenario.

Needs to ditch the Keuchel beard.

Tony La Russa once sent me to the bench in The Show - and I'm convinced he sent me to AAA - because I didn't draw a walk in two weeks. I was hitting .380 and led the team in homers and RBIs. It all comes back to Tony.

My personal belief is in the Church of Eloy. The disciples of which, now that they have returned, are bashing and mashing.

The Sox win 10 games/Robert home run. So Robert only needs to hit 2 HR in the playoffs. Checkmate haters.

lmao

In 2015 he was banging this drum. I've been flabbergasted since, because it's so obvious. http://www.futuresox.com/2015/10/26/why-investing-more-in-minor-league-salaries-is-smart-baseball-business/

Cool story. Here's some science. https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s0806-vaccination-protection.html

I would like Dallas' mom to toast the team at a steak dinner and yell "CHAMPIONSHIP OR DIE, BITCHES."

They'll probably be playing winter ball, because that's what real champions who grind year round do ?. Don't doubt the greatness ???

Taylor Trammell has out produced Kelenic on his own team. .160/.256/.615 with 8 homers in 178 PA vs. .160/.239/.523 with 8 homers in 253 PA This is now the Taylor Trammell thread.
