I knew Lopez sucked, I knew Rodon was unreliable and both Dunning and Cease are iffy. 

I still don't care. Ride with what you have and improve next year. 

I really don't think Lance Lynn makes the Sox a WS contender this year. The AL is a gauntlet.

The FO knows this team is young and flawed in the pitching, RF, And DH department. They just punted this season and plan to hope for the best. They figured this year fans will just be happy making the playoffs. Which is probably true.

I’m completely fine with standing pat at the deadline. What I’m not fine with is not addressing the holes in RF and SP (other than adding Keuchel) last offseason. That needs to be addressed next winter.

For as old school as Stone is, he's spot on with his current take on baseball.

Where is Bernardo Flores and why isn’t he on this team? Just give the guy a chance, he can’t be worse than Lopez.
