It just isn’t meant to be this year boys.

The A’s didn’t win this game, we lost it.

The As earned this lead with the way they fought through our bullpen pitchers.

That hurt a lot

Yeah I think that does it...oh well take it as a learning experience and come back next year.

And sign some quality arms, our pitching really shit the bed in this very winnable series

Did Mendoza just compare Colome to “prime Jansen”

GTFO

lol they both throw cutters, that's about the only similarity.

Welcome to Oakland Alex

Keep Cease up.

I'm glad my spirit was crushed and my will to give a shit was cut directly in half during the Cleveland series.

I'm not half as upset as I normally would be.

You had to know this was coming. We're a horrible baseball team right now. For a variety of reasons. We're not even a top 8 team in the AL. Not at this moment. Not a playoff team.

McCann, Moncada, and Robert, against a tired Hendriks? We still have one last shot.

Gotta hold them here though.

100%. Absurd amount of chances with RISP and the bullpen walking everyone.

Did anyone else see the blatant opportunity to steal during that Abreu at bat????

Runners left on base .... can't blame the pitching, we were far from clutch

i think hes referencing the atrocious amount of guys we left on the bases.

They've had terrible RISP stats all year. They live and die by the home run this season. Not gonna get those consistently in a short series.

Wait he burned the DH lol

Giving up the dh so that collins couldn't play is pretty funny though

If you steal those bases you take the bat out of Abreu’s hands. They’d walk him. It’d be all on McCann.

Shes clueless

Can only hope that this loss will make them that much more hungrier next year!

McCann entering to catch should tells us everything about their faith in Collins behind the plate.

I really hope that's not your way of saying that the offense should be held more accountable.

If the Bears can't score any damn points while their defense is dealing, you don't get mad at the defense when they start to wear down.

And quite frankly, I know you can't actually speak for anybody but yourself but if the mentality is actually that "everybody" knows the pitching is bad, the no one should actually expect this team to advance in the playoffs.

Not what I meant.  Just needed to be aggressive and try to gamble some to try to get extra runs on the board.  Frankly, I didn't expect them to win today because we had NO good options to start the game.  Leaving tons of runners on base is frustrating but it happens.  That's why I want to steal, bunt whatever to try to manufacture some additional runs.

So we took away our DH? What is that?

Zack Collins was a wasted roster spot for here layoffs

Gave up the DH.
