Please be ok Crochet...and also please trade Grandal if anyone is interested

I don’t think he is OK. The trainer was talking to RR and indicating an elbow issue.

It's bullshit.  The first base ump didn't even Hesitate!!!!

yes, just handed them a lead and made our pitcher throw a ton more pitches.

That’s the season. Lot of pieces of shit on this team that don’t need to be here next year.

Man you don't even hide the fact that you dislike this team. Weird.

I can take getting beat by good hitting but this is flat out mental weakness by our pitching. The moment is too big for these guys and they are shrinking. Very disheartening

House of Horrors always bites Sox in the ass

The only thing that would have made a difference in this game so far was going longer with Dunning. This is the risk of a “bullpen” game.

That was going to blow in their face too. Pitchers didn’t get it done.

Oh well, this was a learning experience for the team. We have some pieces that need to be added to get us over the top.

These bullpen games are tough and it's asking a lot, but some normally reliable guys are just absolute trash today. I think the moment is getting to them.

Luckily the A's are great at fucking these situations up in the playoffs.

I can't even get excited when the Sox score because they're just going to give it back and then some. 3-0 should be a nice start in a playoff game but not when you can't find a third starting pitcher unfortunately.

We've literally given them 4 runs this game by not being able to just throw strikes.

That's on Ricky for playing the players on the team and not willing them to throw strikes

This game isn't over.  You know the offense is going to score more runs.  Maybe not the 20 that I joked they would need to win it, but they aren't done scoring yet.

If you are scoring at home, that is 7 walks in the last 2 innings (only one of them intentional) and a catcher's interference thrown in as well.

Crochet's injury is the big story regardless of how this game ends.

That was the time to bring in Rodon.....to save the rest of the guys for later

No chance.  It takes him way too long to get ready.

I am not sure why he would be telling him this in the middle of the game.  WTH is he going to do/say right now?

That's like half the people on this board mods included.  Atleast we didn't trade Stiever for Lynn. He sure wouldn't have helped.

Yep, should have traded Dunning and Kopech for Clevinger, and paid for his surgery.

Madrigal into Anderson. This has to be the inning.

No he was our offseason prize. No way can we admit he’s a fucking clown and dump him.

If we lose this game, the mighty Central Division will have exited at 1-6 in the post season. ?‍♂

Let's GOOOOOOOO!!

This is what everyone in the trade deadline thread who didn't want to trade prospects wanted to see. You wanted to see these guys go out and struggle. All of that because you take the playoffs for granted. We may not go back next year.

Lucky for the 2026 fans that threw a party at the deadline when we didn’t acquire anyone

I could've said that but I chose the high road. Not that you saying it is the low road but I give you credit for having more guts than me. Let's score some runs !!

absolutely fuck these umps

THAT ISN'T A STRIKE

Rodon was brought in at the right time, with two out in the 4th and nobody on, doesn't get more low leverage than that.

If he needs to pitch that was the time.

Unfortunately nobody got the job done.
