Fuck AJ Hinch.  He was a laughing stock at Arizona then he gets handed a stacked team with an intricate system of cheating and he's considered a great manager.  Get the fuck out of here.

I have no idea if Alomar is actually good or not but:

-Speaks Spanish

-Has been in the Org

-Sexy name that's not an expensive, super-manager

Another thing I'll say is all the great managers probably want to come here. We are Chicago and have a great roster for a while. Let's not hire Fred Hoiberg or Matt Nagy, let's get the best guy that is available. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us, as it is rare for a coaching search to take place with a loaded roster on the cusp of something special. Please do not waste it on some chump.

Hey, he didn't cheat!

*he just didn't do anything to stop it lol

That's almost worse lol

Cool we gonna cheat now too? He'll look the other way no problem.

Alex Cora makes a ton of sense. I'd take him over Alomar.

I'll take Hinch, Cora, Beltran... Fuck it LOL

I felt Dusty was just keeping the seat warm in Houston for Hinch to return.

You know what would be a Sox move - hiring AJP as a manager... although that would be fun.

He definitely makes more sense than Hinch if we're gonna bring in somebody who has cheated.

No too Cora

I posted in another thread that Sox had a bad relationship with Hinch like 100 years ago.  Did that ever get patched up?

Is this just Nightengale speculating? His word choices made it seem like it is.

No to hinch. He's a freaking clown

So is Cora. I hope both are no-go’s.

Agreed

I think Rick basically just said Hinch or Cora have to be the favorites.

Oh boy. With that last comment by Hahn, now I just hope it isn’t Cora.

God I hope it’s not AJ Hinch. Give me Alex Cora.

What about Bochy?  2 WS wins, very respectable teams for the most part.
