Hahn does deserve a lot of blame for not looking for "quality" depth but I also think any team hit by this many injuries is going to look tough.

The OF coming into Spring Training was Eloy-Robert-Eaton/Engel. All 4 of those guys are out with injury right now. I don't know many teams that survive that and have the depth to really make things look good.

The Dodgers could probably pull something out of their ass but that's about it.

Is it true that Hendriks did not have to be the runner?

Having no one in the minors capable of passably filling in hurts.  There just is no OF depth in the upper minors either.

Actually a smart play, if you know... we didn‘t have our fucking closer on third.

It would almost never be a smart play.

Leading run is on 3rd base and you just made the second out at second base with the fastest base runner in the game standing at the plate. He wasn't getting doubled up. In that situation, the runner on 3rd was all that mattered in the moment. They were throwing through regardless there - I guess maybe not if you have some elite speed on 3rd but for most hitters they're throwing through there. I'm just amazed honestly. I can't believe it happened lol

Lamb was up. Not Anderson.

Ahhh...see that now.  Still incredibly dumb to steal there and it may have cost us a game.

Embarrassing way to lose this game.

Yeah we all saw that coming.

Dear TLR, that is how its done.  Please go away now.

Tony is an idiot.

You figured that was coming. Oh well.

Unbelievable they pitched to him there. Tony keeps making horrible decisions.

Can’t expect to sweep the Reds on the road going 2/30 and leaving runners on base.

Needed to pinch run for him, essentially.

Now is a beat reporter going to show enough balls to call out TLR on his bullshit?

didn't expect to win against gray. Last night was great. Today was a reality check of the OF situation.

Guess this is the end of my brief game thread streak.

You'll be back...and that was a great Win you brought us last night.

Can't wait for the postgame when Tony says it is on him for like the 5th time and we are barely into May.

Hendriks didn't look good today at all

This loss is 1000% on Tony La Russa.

Gave up 1 run in 19 innings and F’N split.....only the Sox do this crap.
