Probably true but idk, why is he running on a likely foul ball while at first? 
EDIT: Okay this was a dumb point. I watched again and it was hit right at the bag. There's zero chance he could get back, and he didn't start running further away from first base off the bat. I concede. Stone was on one for this.

It's honestly baffling. Guy was taken his secondary and it was a ball hit down the line at the base. Did he expect his first step to be back and then a dive? Even if your first move is back towards the base on a line drive in the infield you're stuck where Yoan was.

It’s called a secondary lead. There’s no reason for any runner to be within 6 feet of 1st base as the pitch is released. This is little league 101 stuff.

He  wasn't? If his first step was back to 1st base after a pitch was released he'd be a horrible base runner.
