Imagine being a manager and knowing you have 5 fresh relievers and 1 who hasn't been successful on back to back and pitched yesterday and say to yourself, let's go get the former in the biggest moment

We can still win this series. We just have to score more runs than Houston and you can take that to the bank

  • Let’s GO! Lots of pressure on Houston. They need to win one of the next three if they want to force a game 5.

I’m scared

Gonna be on the road for this one. Very nervous. Sox fans are ready to explode with excitement, need some fun in the series. I get the feelings yesterday, it sucked. I want to go into Sunday ready to rock, not ready for a funeral.

I have a real good feeling about this one.

I would think Cesar gets the start over Leury

Hate that Leury and Engel are in our post season starting lineup. One of them… fine, both? Failure on Hahn’s end.

Vaughn is going yard today.

I don’t see Leury sitting with Tony managing. Cesar only starts at this point if Leury is in the OF.

Kris Bryant would look pretty nice in the lineup. Its ok though, we got kimbrel instead. Should be super helpful with all those IP's!

You right. That is the official lineup. I don't get Leury vs a lefty over Cesar  but either way they're the weakpoint.

I think its fair to  assume that Cesars option won't be picked up by the White Sox.

Leury is much better right handed than left, so if anything id think cesar made more sense yesterday than today.

Gotta love our two trade deadline acquisitions were lauded as not half year rentals and turns out both likely will be, but we paid for a second year (cost more) that we won't use. Good times.

Leury is better from the right side in his career.

I don't think it will either and I feel like re-signing him late in the off-season to a cheaper deal will be Plan like F or some shit.

Not this year though, especially not as of late. Cesar is also way better from the right-side so I would take the defense.

Switched Abreu to 1b

as bad as yesterday's matchup looked for the Sox is as good as it looks for them today

Leury's number are not better right handed than left this year.

Left-handed OPS - 717

Right-handed OPS - 698

Over his career Leury is better right-handed.

I mixed that all up, sorry!

Starling Marte wouldn't look bad either. Imagine using that trade package (or similar) towards an everyday player that won't carry a huge salary next year (at the most volatile position).

Didn't want a spike in his chest. Wise man.
