Imagine being a manager and knowing you have 5 fresh relievers and 1 who hasn't been successful on back to back and pitched yesterday and say to yourself, let's go get the former in the biggest moment

We can still win this series. We just have to score more runs than Houston and you can take that to the bank

  • Let’s GO! Lots of pressure on Houston. They need to win one of the next three if they want to force a game 5.

Sox weaknesses were exposed early once again. Lead off walks, wild pitches, 2nd base defense. Crappy 7-9 Hitters.  Swinging at breaking pitches out of the zone. Striking out with RISP. Double plays.  No running game. Nowhere to hide.

bunch of damn thieves out there

Of course, their defense is dominating

I really hope a ball like that is not hit out to Leury and we regret pulling Engel.

Mother tucker.

Damn I thought that might go over his head

Tall Tucker pulls it down.

Just can't get over the hump this series

Not hitting enough homers, end of story

Yaz has hit two missiles late in the past 2 games. Unfortunate.

Just can't seem to get that big hit to fall now...lots of well hit balls but nothing to show for it.

Gotta score next inning if not we done

pretty good assessment

These cocksuckers are getting a bit fortunate with the glove today, I get that they're good but he misjudged that line drive...dammit

Ok

Lets shut them down here

The astros have stolen 3 hits from us this game

You can just feel a Houston walk off

Yet here they are tied in 7th inning versus a World Series favorite.

Imagine if we had someone that could hit in the 4 spot today.

we're forfeiting the 9th?

This is why they didnt do well against good teams.  This idea that they were going to magically flip a switch and just become a juggernaut is ignoring the obvious.

the guy misplayed tht but still makes the catch . dam

Don't like this......

i would take a plain old extra base hit.  We cant even get past 1st on a batted ball.

Why? Their best two pitchers both threw over 20 pitches yesterday. Still like Sox chances to push a run or two in this game
