Wasn’t it in the zone?

Looked low to me.  Not as bad as the others, but still not a strike.

  • He has one of the best eyes in baseball, is your highest paid hitter, and the pitcher on the mound can't find the zone.  But @greg775 told me TLR is a great manager, it can't be debated!

TLR can straight go F himself. Leury in any spot but 8th or 9th shows the game has passed him by and we are not a world series caliber team with him as manager.

Yet Garcia will be in lineup tomorrow

Ozzie and Chuck questioning Tony for not PHing Grandal for McGuire or Burger

Should have been for McGuire. It’s insane not to.  How many other managers let their weak hitting backup catcher bat there?

Pitcher was all over the place. When do guys like that get the benefit of the doubt? Weird

You can argue if that was a strike or not, but you can't argue the 1-0 pitch on McGuire was a strike. That totally changed the AB and the inning.

I dont care.

Make the play an average shortstop makes or the below average 1st baseman makes

Or

Win or lose put in the better hitter with grandal

I can keep going

FUCK THIS

I honestly don't have a lot of confidence in Yaz at the moment, but you have to think with his pedigree that he gets you a better result there.

I thought Jeffers was incredible framing that inning.  The pitch to McGuire was awful, as was the Engel one.

As they should.  Credit to McGuire for battling, but seriously WTF?

At least, Eloy looked good on his swing for a change.  Kept his head down.

I thought we'd wake up after Cleveland but apparently not. It's been an ugly fucking week.

Stop complaining

This team doesn't deserve it

No....when a guy makes at least 3 bad strike calls in an inning I'm gonna complain.

Who gives a crap he battled?  He got fastball after fastball and couldn’t put it in play. He has a slider-speed swing.  Not his fault, he’s not known for his hitting.

But he called one lower before....why would he not call that one

Get over yourselves

This team blows lead by their manager who won't put them in good positions to win

I'd rather have Tony the moderator managing this team than Tony La Russa, and that's saying something!

Yes

Pitch was borderline but Burger shouldn't have been in that position to begin with.  He battled to 3-2 and should have been ready to hack.

He’s been pretty bad lately.  I wouldn’t have PH’d him in that spot.

Disappointing last at bat. Swing the bat, sir.

Terrible loss. Sox setting the tone early as a crummy road team. My boy Jose with the goat horns.

Glad I missed us score one run again with Tony's stellar line up.

The 2 leaders on this team (TA and Jose) are letting everyone down big time with their piss poor defense. There's gotta be some accountability. You'd think an experienced manager like TLR would never let his team play this kind of poor fundamental baseball.
