Fans don't even care.  The last two games have been so bad nobody gives a shit.   Literally nobody cared about yesterday's game. My two college ages sons made the Sox must see tv in 20 and 2

Sure Tony…

The 3-minute official White Sox game recap on the MLB app not only included the audio from last night's game but also this handy graphic in case you had it on mute.

It's one thing to mention it on a broadcast. You have to make effort to include it *with a screen graphic* in your brief game recap.

At some point in the season I may stop my Fire Tony Chant because it's a distraction to the players. But I'll crank it back up as soon as the final out is recorded.

Would agree it’s time to let it go with Tony. He’s not getting fired anyway, so why go to a game just to get angry?  The team is probably going to have one of the best records in baseball in July and August, so enjoy the ride to the 3-seed, and hope for the best in October.

Anger is an energy.

we will see. Everyone was happy the previous 2 winning streaks only to crash later. Being bumslaying for a couple months won’t be anything new to the team. They should hit more, but the starters and defense  worry me for the playoffs

Makes sense. They played hard for him on Tuesday night for sure. That was a good game in which the Sox appeared to battle hard. I laugh at any fire Tony talk because of reasons stated before. You (Jerry) don't fire your best bud a second time especially when your bud is a Hall of Famer and you yourself are very old. The odds of Tony getting fired are about the same as the Cubs moving the franchise to Nashville.

That was the trouble with the hire in the first place. Most managers don't leave on their own accord; they are fired. But JR would never be able to pull the trigger for all the reasons you stated. We are truly stuck with this guy. Another dumb managerial hire by the White Sox.

Average lifespan for an American male roughly 77-78…TLR is right there.  Along with Williams, McKeon and Connie Mack.

NFL and NBA coaching much more demanding…almost nobody can survive in terms of energy and commitment required even in their early 60’s these days.

The man already retired a decade ago.  I think there is a decent chance he walks away or is asked to walk away if the Sox miss the playoffs or lose quickly in 1st round.  He is definitely not getting fired midseason tho, no matter how much we all want it.

Retired from the dugout. He's a true baseball lifer. I was surprised once by a professional athlete stating in an interview that he didn't love his sport. Wasn't really interested in the history. It was just a job to him.

Tony seems to really love the game. Loves the people in the game.

The point of the chant is to get attention and force Tony to use his head moving forward. It is getting better slowly but it is still progress. People know Tony won't actually be fired.

No, actually that makes some sense Dusty, avoiding the big hitter when the count is not in your favor.  That's not what Tony did

On the score today they had Jim M talking about how the first base and third base jobs have survived 3 managerial changes.  On what other planet do you keep the coaches from multiple previous organizations.  This organization needs to be rebuilt from the top down.  This incestuous permanent employment makes the cook county government look progressive with hiring.

Darryl Boston has grayed right in front of our eyes. I have no idea what he brings to the table,

I mean how many first base coaches are out there that you can name and say what they have done for a team?

FIRE TONY!!!

Surely this chant gets cranking in the stadium tonight. This has to be the low point of the season to this point.
