I found it interesting. It's fine that you don't. If it pisses you off that much, find a new hobby.

So we don't pinch hit for Leury in games but Tim Anderson sure.  Just retire you corpse.

Well we are smack dab in the middle of our world series window.  I keep saying that while going over the personnel in the lineup and looking at the corpse in the dugout.

This guy going thru the litny of problems with the Sox roster construction.  What a welcome change from the alpha fanboy we get stuck listening to every night.

Sheets is a pop up machine

bro that dude needs some meds badly.

The post game fireworks are sponsored by a start-up cult lmao

One of the worst games of the year.  Flat, listless team.  Poor defense, no clutch hitting, no homers, poor starting pitching, etc.   no retaliation after no respect from the Guardians hitting Abreu,Eloy.  We really got pushed around.  A bad start for the series.  No sense of urgency.

Is that now 3-8 on the season against CLE?

JR is happy at least.

31,379 in attendance.  19-26 at home.

Could have been worse, I guess. At least we didn’t lose 28-5.

Boston -5, White Sox -20 RS/RA

After a -17 swing for Boston vs. Chicago tonight.

At least the fans will have a memory decades from now.  8-2, pretty much forgotten a month from now.

TLR sucks, a game thread.

They lost.

This team sleepwalks through so many games, and no one is ever held accountable.  Gee, I wonder why it keeps happening?

What would the plan be to hold  Giolito accountable after he gave  up 6 in the first two innings ?

I'm worried about the big fatass' next start too.  Bad starts are going to burn out this bullpen.

So much for turning it up after AS break

Not a surprise. Team was kind of hot before the break but you just knew the multi days off would take away that momentum. This as we all know is a severely flawed team. On to the next game.

Isolating Position Players and Managers, Ricky's 2019 team would beat Tony's 2022 team facing / starting identical pitching staffs.

Sad how this team has regressed the past two seasons, worse than a tanking team.

Advantage 2019 Team

  • 2019 Renteria > 2022 La Russa
  • 2019 McCann > 2022 Grandal
  • 2019 Anderson > 2022 Anderson
  • 2019 Moncada > 2022 Moncada
  • 2019 Jimenez > 2022 Jimenez
  • 2019 Leury > 2022 Sheets

Advantage 2022 Team

  • 2022 Abreu > 2019 Abreu
  • 2022 Harrison > 2019 Yolmer
  • 2022 Robert > 2019 Engel

That doesn’t even account for Pollock and Giolito’s slide into irrelevance/oblivion.

And Lynn doing his best Keuchel impression.

At least they still managed to hit 4 home runs, that would take the White Sox a week to do.

Why does this team suck so bad...?

This question makes me wish there was a Reinsdorf emoji.

They’re so consistent with their disappointment. How annoying.
