Two walls and two homers in one inning. I’m feeling lightheaded

Stop defending Tony. He was awful too and this season doesn’t change that.

Except both of these things can be true:  1) Tony La Russa was absolutely overmatched as a manager and made poor decisions throughout his Sox tenure that limited this team  AND 2) Rick

Rick sucks too. But to act like Tony doesn’t deserve any blame is ridiculous and stupid.

Man, not easy to walk Colas and Robert in the same inning.

I would like a Sosa home run as well please.

Gotta keep that bat in the lineup somehow.

I feel like every time he comes up from AAA he takes advantage of his playing time. His bat is too good to not have in the lineup

But he can't hit RHP!  ?

He’s so damn strong

Imagine that....hes figuring out how to hit MLB RHP

Jake such an easy guy to root for. Absolutely love to see it!

Cease throwing 93 can't be a good sign.

How many White Sox does it take to stick on a PitchCom?

Our pitchers just walk so many hitters, and seemingly never have an easy inning after they score

Guess who had the crappiest AB in the 1st....

Big pitch

I’ve been busy last few days, is Eloy in the doghouse?

I’m going to assume it’s because it’s very cold and windy.

Big call.  Could've gone either way.  Glad it went the right way!

Might be out of necessity . However he did hit .500 last year against the Orioles both at home and on the road going 13/26. Orioles might be the only team he did this against since he was so bad against most any team on the road.

In the ultra small 4 game sample at home this year he is 2/6 with 3 walks .333 BA  .556 OBP.  He also had a .908 OPS at home last year. The starting pitcher is RH so there's that too.

Hoping for his 1st HR of the year and maybe a walk or another hit also and that his defense isn't too costly.

This is why actual baseball knowledge helps a manager instead of just thinking about how he fell down in 1 game or his defense in general. Gotta weigh the good and the bad. The more you know... You're handling people not robots. People skills count too.

Gavin Sheets at home vs. RHP, usually is pretty good.

Burger for full time DH

Ok, Burger is off to a great start, love the guy. Full time DH? Ok, do we trade Jimenez? No room in the outfield for Jimenez. What about Sheets? Do we also want him to DH against Righties? As I stated last year year, we have too many DH’s and 1st Basemen on this team. Vaughn is off to a great start, you can’t move him off of 1st. Burger does also have a history of being injured at times also. This is a wait and see situation in my opinion until mid May. Need To see what Moncada ends up being this year.

So if they don’t play with and show emotion they’re wrong and if they do display emotion when playing and winning they’re wrong.  That’s a tough line to walk.

People must have been really emotionally repressed prior to the invention of portable water coolers
