Ricky Renteria was the lone manager to hold players accountable and produced the best winning percentage in the Hahn era. Players possibly grudgingly respected La Russa the first few weeks of 2021 (Ti

Wow, with Kopech and this anemic lineup, I would be pissed as a Blue Jays fan if they lose to the Sox today. In fact, the Blue Jay players should be totally embarrassed if they can't win today and sweep the series.

7-8-9-1 would not even make the roster of a playoff team. By saying that, I hope they are all responsible for 10 runs today and prove me wrong

Hey Kopech,

How about showing up, throwing 107 pitches over 7 innings and giving up under 3 runs…you know, like a major league pitcher should be able to do on occasion!

A dominating performance from him sure would be nice....he is still capable of that, I hope.

he isn't a starter, they'll figure it out eventually. he's got all the potential to be a badass reliever and possibly closer though

Think he can go two games in a row or 3 out of four?  Honest question.

Elvis Adrus leading off and Robert third. Has Pedro watched the games at all or looked at a stat sheet recently? The team is deflated after one AB.

Is he so miserable he's trying to get fired?

Andrus as the leadoff hitter is definitely.............a move.

So Colas shows the expected rookie slow down after the league adjusts to him and he now can't crack the startling lineup.  Classic White Sox, the season is already meaningless, let him take his lumps and play nearly every day.

Weird to sit him against the righty last night only to also sit him against the lefty today.

Oh goodie an early game I don't have to watch

This game should be over by 12:30.

I'm trying to give Pedro the benefit of the doubt but this lineup is atrocious. Even with the bodies he has.

what's this thing about Burger being a fast runner based on the stats, anyone heard this? He's supposedly in the top 15% or some s%*# (Robert in the top 11%)

sounds ridiculous personally

I hear some people saying the White Sox aren't going to win another game this year. I think they're wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox still win as many as 50 games this year.

Yeah, he's hit lefties pretty well in his MILB career, I've seen enough Romy.

yeah I didn't realize that either, I've thought to myself "he moves well for a big guy" but never would have guessed a tick behind Robert speed.  Here's compared to the league

Colas is batting .100 vs lefties this year. Sheets and Haseley should never be in vs lefties. So yeah. Maybe play Colas and get some experience but yes, these are the bodies he has.

Andrus, to his credit, has a .375 OBP vs Lefites this year in 24 PAs. Not a big sample size but at this point, may as well be 1.000 for what we are dealing with.

There is no making a good line-up here.
