2 for 2, on trade returns I like so far. I'm not used to this.

THE PRODIGAL SON RETURNS

Shocked they got anything of value for those two. Nastrini is our best pitching prospect close to the majors.

I wonder if they might have kicked in any money.

Both those guys have pretty impressive K:ip. There’s some upside , for two old expensive and bad pitchers that’s about all you can expect

Nick Nasty

Trace Thompson pickup- is this a prelude to a Robert trade.

Basically the same player- one is just slightly better.

Leasure looks like a decent RP prospect too, I would not be shocked if we sent him to Charlotte

Rick backing that truck up

Poor Trayce, he thought his worst days were behind him

One stip for the deal was that Lance leaves 50 pounds back in Chicago.

Love it. Now he better be good or else it won't work.

Oh. My. God.

Nastrini is a pretty legit prospect, and immediately probably our 2nd best SP prospect.  Considering what we gave up and the dollars attached, him alone would have been a win.

Ironically - the White Sox really need someone like Thompson, just because they've had no backup CF pretty much all year and Luis Robert might well just crumble to dust at his current usage rate.

Nastrini is probably in the top 5 in the Sox system?

I was going to say Mastrini but went with the cutesy answer of Kyle Hurt.

I just saw that Trayce is on the 60 day IL currently and now he is traded back to the Sox...talk about kicking a guy when he is down.

Now he goes to the worst development machine. Sorry big guy

Leasure looks like an interesting pen prospect.  1.057 WHIP, 14.4 k/9 v. 4.1 bb/p this season.

legit blown away that the sox actually get to take advantge of a seller's market. In years past sox would have to eat money and be happy to get the relief prospect alone. This year they get the #9 prospect in a stacked dodger system with #4 potential along with a really good looking relief arm and a warm body, all the while not having to ship any money.

Sounds like an immediate call up is in order for Mr, Leasure

Are the Dodgers looking at a 40 man roster crunch this coming offseason?

Damn I feel sorry for Trayce Thompson.

He's hitting .155 and making almost $1.5 million. He's doing OK.

He actually should be back soon. Trayce loves us.

I am actually feeling a little something right now for Joe Kelly...could be love, I'm not sure.
