Fire Chris Getz

That's good, because I don't really need to be taken seriously by people who start screaming for the GM to be fired who has this team competitive 4 years ahead of the schedule that was rammed down everyone's throats, here.

No, Castillo hasn't worked out, Doyle hasn't set the world on fire, Bart got injured quick, and Brazoban has been ineffective. I was underwhelmed by the TDL. At the time, I said it looked like they overpaid in every deal. But that's supply and demand. I'm disappointed about all 4. As an adult, I can understand what they were trying to do. The 2nd half collapse didn't stem from a bad TDL. The offense all fell in a slump for weeks, and the pitching looks gassed.

But hey, let's all look at who caught fire after the TDL and declare those are the guys we should have traded for. By trading less. Great fucking analysis. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go hold this front office accountable by pouting like a tired 4-year-old whose mom cut his cheeseburger all wrong.

The irony is this is the schtick you pull anytime people even think about criticizing Chris Getz. You have this type of nutter meltdown where you mock them, scream in hysterics, make up something no one ever said, move the goalposts and declare victory. You are what you hate.

  • Why don’t you tell us why there was no alternative?  Or why you believe so strongly in everything he has done in house, that is not visible or even quantifiable?  Or why we should accept him as “bette

"As for the current direction of this team, initially many had expected that this team couldn’t compete until 2028 at the earliest given the historically bad 2024 team. Twelve months later, with the arrival of Colson, Teel, and Quero, supplemented by a couple of solid, if unspectacular young bats, in Vargas, Sosa, and Baldwin, and hitting a homerun with the Rule 5 pick of Smith, and top prospects poised for getting the call, Sox looks like they have a chance to compete by 2027."

Right, but wrong on Quero Sosa Baldwin Shane Smith...but that was the common sentiment, with most others doubting JR would spend bigly in FA until the 2027-28 cycle because of the I'm pending lookout and unknown CBA landscape

Completely forgot Baldwin too will be fighting Braden, Acuna and Doyle for playing time

Well regarding what Getz has accomplished building a competitive team, judging by what’s happened lately, we don’t quite understand which is the real team. The current squad or the one that led up to this lower level of competence. The Yermin Mercedes team was fun until the wheels fell off. I think we can safely say that Getz has built a floor more than a roof. The ceiling is not the roof tight now. So Getz has been overrated, but he’s done his job of pointing the team in a positive direction. I will take it and hold off on the pink slip
