Generally,

Building a team off the waiver wire and minor league contracts because no other team will give them a major league contract, gets you more losses than you thought possible.

I get that the White Sox have to be bad. But do they really have to keep being this bad?

When your player development is among the worst in baseball and you are scared to play your own kids, this is how it works.

1) I don't want Amaya on the team
2) I also want Palacios gone
3) Robert is doing so bad, his OPS+ is one lower than Palacios'
4) Tauchman is better than Palacios
5) I note that Maton hasn't done much of anything
6) f*** it. Start Dalbec at shortstop, just to keep Amaya off the field

Why won't he say the same things we do? I mean, we make fun of him and everything!! LOL.

Chasing every pitch six inches outside of the strike zone wasn't working either though

Really aggressive players will take some terrible swings. It's the non competitive abs that he needed to eliminate.

The Sox have really ruined an incredibly talented player. He's the poster boy of the poor talent development of position players within this org.

is there a place that tracks successful challenge %? I feel like Venable is miles ahead of the previous moron, and the other previous moron.

I found it on baseball reference.

TLR 51.7% (15/29)

Pedro 35.8%  (19/53)

Venable 75% (3/4)

The player development was bad under an old regime, now Getz is the GM so what happened when he wasn't GM doesn't apply to him.

Also, they have made outstanding hires inside the organization. Outstanding hires. You can already see how much different this team is than last year top to bottom.

Only the best hires.

Sosa 107.3 EV

416 feet

boom!   swinging first pitch on a backup breaking ball

4 home runs against Paddack in April already
