Wow, wait until you hear Hawks' HR call on that one. Brutal.

I saw the ball bounce on the ground when Hawk said he caught it.

It's like the Cardinals with Matt Carpenter at 2nd. The bat outweighs the errors.

I thought Carpenter is playing 3rd cause Freese is hurt?

Radio call wasn't any better...

The Royals announcer, Ryan Lefevre, actually did a good job on it.

I am starting to think Lefevre is actually a great replacement for Hawk when he retires. He's not bad, folks.

Thank goodness Gordon didn't catch that. Woulda been horrible on so many counts!

How in the heck did the one poster know we'd hit so many HRs today?

The Royals pitcher gave up a ton of HR's last year, it makes sense.

Gordon was standing on the wall...WTF?

Dayan is probably too chubby to do that, but Gordon actually would rob plenty of home runs if he was our leftfielder.

I remember Ivan Calderon doing that in old Tigers Stadium a long time ago...

At that point I dont know why he didnt jump over and catch it in the bullpen. He had time.

Because Ervin Santana is a terrible pitcher who gives up a lot of home runs
