I hope they score and I can watch MORE White Sox Baseball today!

One of the worst general managers in franchise history highlighted by one of the worst managerial hires in franchise history. Sign me up for season tix!

Quite a statement game tonight. Glad they adjusted the rotation.

My lord, just looked at the screen. Giving up 5 runs on 13 pitches is certainly.....something.

All things considered that was one of the better, most complete ballgames of the season.

It's almost like not acquiring an actual closer to fill in for our injured/sick closer had horrendous consequences on this season.

I'm fairly certain Hahn will get canned at some point but its pretty mind-boggling he's going to be around to kick this next "transition" off.

Ozzie isn't managing anywhere because he was one of the first real casualties of cancel culture. He said some dumb crap in Miami and nobody wants to take that chance again with his loose mouth. That being said he's done his time in the penalty box. Ozzie may have worn out his stay but he was a fantastic manager from 04 to 08. He got bored the last few years. I think he'd go the same route. Come back with energy and vigor, do some great work for 4 or 5 years then fade again. I'm all for it. He is absolutely what this organization needs right now.

Blah

What if, get this, they altered their normal approach and worked to stay behind the ball and hit it to the right side. In this scenario, a little elevation and you get a game winning hit. A ground ball and you still move the runner. But none of our hitters ever have any semblance of adjusting, or trying this, so now you have fans suggesting they just bunt instead. The approach of the entire organization is broken so I won't get on others for suggesting a bunt from our "big boppers" in the tenth. Their multiple failures have brought us here.

I keep hearing that as an excuse. Other than sucking I've seen no indication he's hurt.

Who said anyone was actively looking? This was all over social media yesterday. And yeah when the "face of the franchise" is telling people/fans who are upset he's turned into a garbage player to f off, I think it's worth noting. When you thrust yourself into the public eye people will take notice.

For those who can't read the fine print it says "not too many, f*#k the rest of em." Just curious if anyone is still defending this clown.

I agree. Doesn't mean they can't try to make it work by packaging someone else with Giolito. But they won't, nor should they, trade Cease. I mostly stand by that because it'll be Hahn making these moves and I don't want him making trades with our top tier guys again. And you need someone to build around because they will not do a total tear down again.

It is. And he's a little bit blocked and they need SP. Lot of speculation in Baltimore that he'll be their trade piece.

Lot of painful truths here.

I like him a lot. Prob not ready til 2025.

Exchanging Lucas Giolito and Joey Ortiz from the Orioles seems to be a no brainer for both clubs. If you can steal another prospect in the deal great. Package TA with a bullpen arm to get some mlb ready starting pitching in return. Shop your bullpen and see what you can get. But none of this keep them down for service time nonsense. Bring them to the big league club right away to let them bond here. It'll give us something to watch in the second half and maybe serve as a wake up call to some of the others. I realistically expect none of this to happen.

What they absolutely should do is trade Giolito then sign him in the off season but that is absolutely what they will not do.

Surely Rick will step down on Monday.

Actively hurting the teams chances to win because of "what he's done in the game." By that logic Manny Ramirez should've batted 3 when KW brought him in. We're way beyond embarrassing.

I'd be thrilled if we could steal Ortiz. He and Montgomery on our middle infield would be worth watching.

Grifol is continuing to hit TA 2 out of pure stubbornness now. He can't possibly ignorant and dumb enough to think this is working. He is turning into one of our most unlikeable managers.

Well he's Rick's guy......so.....

Should've pinch hit for TA. 0-2 fastball right down the middle shows you how little they feared him.
