And if I was picking top 3, I don’t think I take Wilson but I could see him being best players in draft if it all came together. Either way so stoked they have a top 4 pick. Real curious if they try and get up to 10 or 11 if someone they like is falling.

I love Wilson’s makeup and physical talents. He is raw so has a level of bust potential but his floor is still pretty good because of his makeup and tools. I liken him to a Tyrus Thomas with killer instinct and work ethic. I know that may sound bad but I think that combo could be a very unique differentiator on the court. I’m good with any of the big 4 though!

And this is a turd deal for the Heat. At least Bulls seem to be doing their rebuild right (finally).

If Bucks had an offer for Jaylon I have no clue why they accepted that Heat offer. Very mid offer in my mind. Stupid move for Heat too - they will still be mediocre and basically a play in team. Weird move but what do I know. Reminds me of when the Wolves randomly traded Towns for a way lesser player in Randle. In fairness this is still right move for Bucks as they need to pivot…but if they could get Jaylon and something in this no tank league that is pretty good. Instead they may get Hero and some mid picks - I guess anti tanking may mean they get lucky with Heat picks being far better than expected.

Was a bad send but also looked like Acuna slipped/misstepped rounding 3rd…wasn’t a lot but was absolutely the difference between him being safe or out. Either way with no one out and the big bats up you can’t have the guy gunned down in that situation.

And then at 15….do Bulls try and flip Giddey and 15 or see if they can move up or do they stand pat? Would love Philon, Morez, Carr. Quaintenance is someone I wouldn’t mind moving back into tail end of first round to get if he slides. Redshirt him half the season and than ease him in. I would love if they could somehow get up and grab Fleming.

Draft day tomorrow - do we think there will be any surprises in who ends up on board at 4 and what Bulls do? Feels like everyone is just expecting top 4 to roll off as expected with Wilson coming to Bulls. I’m all in on Wilson or whichever of top 4 are there but curious if we see any wrinkles or if it really plays out that way. Feels like if top 4 happen as planned it would be first draft in a long time with the top 4 and exact order cemented for so long with basically no rumors or anything…which makes you think…does Peterson end up at 4? I think if it isn’t Wilson that slides it would be Peterson getting passed by Utah and Memphis maybe passes on Peterson…

I didn’t realize he was 0 for his last 24 too. Makes that decision even dumber. Really poor job by Will. I like Will but he has made some mistakes these past few games. He has been pretty good with pinch hitters (and it worked with Grichuk earlier) but you got to know Gonzo just shouldn’t be up there.

This - Dominguez is awesome in non save situations and bad in save. Taylor is elite in save and solid in non save. Make the damn change. Come on.

I’m not giving up on him but that was a bad move by Will. Acuna is seeing it well and Jacob is in a slump. You could see Jacob’s body language - he was toast from second he walked up. Lacking confidence right now. I think he will be ok - but put him in better situations and that wasn’t the one. Swings at 3 balls.

Huge by Sam and real nice game by Braden too. Thought Sox hitters did a much better job grinding their at bats out and making pitchers work too. Colson erase this and get on a hot streak!

He is still a solid piece for the pen - he just shouldn’t be closing right now or at least not the primary. Grant Taylor was awful tonight too.

Way to dig deep there and find a way. They had a lot of very good at bats - but man the pen is slumping. But the walks just brutal. Ozzie laying into it right now which is fine. Rough debut for Teel but not surprised. He is going to need another week to get ready (IMO) but it is going to be huge replacing our worst hitter with one of our best. Than get Mune back.

Quero is still someone I believe in, but I get what they are doing. Give him time to get right and get at bats and we'll see him back in August timeframe (hopefully ready to stay for good).

They need a few more bats - hopefully they can got hit hear and bounce back against Cleveland. Teel coming back will be nice and than Mune hopefully not far behind!

I should say - knowing we will have a new owner, I would take a shot and would trade real chips to go for a front line ace if they came available - including Skubal. But would want front office to commit to paying said player too.
