Yeah that's the MVP's spot

Really digging that outfield defense.  Looks like we really want to grab game 1 and have Gio’s back.

Eloy said he would play today. This is concerning because they clearly were waiting to see if he could go.

Grandal has a +140 wRC+ against LHP, so it’s not a huge loss if he can’t play the field.  Definitely need him against Bassitt tomorrow though.

Yes. To me having that defensive alignment is more important than Eloy not being available because you know if he was available Ricky would put him in LF. This will be a low scoring series and I want my best defensive alignment out there in this huge ballpark. Can’t give away outs/runs this series. The only way I see the Sox losing the series is if they beat themselves.

I think it has more to do with them having to play Grandal and McCann today than his ability to DH. I think he'll be in there tomorrow at DH.

I thought he said he hurt it rounding third, not on the slide?

I'm sorry if i missed an update but what us Eloys injury and why is he not playing today? I thought he was suppose to be ready. Is this a bigger concern?
