July 17, 20214 yr This deal is awesome! Perfect length. Good price for both sides. Super super excited to call Lynn a White Sock!

July 17, 20214 yr Besides my subtle poke at Jack Parkman this is a great deal. I’ve been an advocate of bringing him here since last years deadline and he hasn’t disappointed. He’s a true ace and our number 1 pitcher going into the playoffs. Has anyone been watching what Dunning has been doing in Texas? That was not the type of pitcher this club needed.
July 17, 20214 yr Im guessing Lance Lynn is your opening day starter for 2022? (As well as your game one starter for the 2021 World Series)

Yessssssss ! ! Lynn helps a lot for the next few years but the Sox will be facing a different set of problems at the deadline next year. I'm happy !

July 17, 20214 yr Love this. Solidifies the rotation for the near future. Lynn was born to play on the South Side.

July 17, 20214 yr All I have to say is FUCK YES. One if my fav Sox pitchers ever. Finally a “bulldog on the mound” that lets his pitching back it up.

What other teams can give Rodon 4/$80 and not blink if it goes bad? Doesn’t feel like a typical Cardinals move…Toronto, if they can increase their revenue the last 2-3 months playing north of the border. Padres are already extended and have Clevinger coming back next year.
