Something else I also just learned: the top 3 of the Royals order, ALL have more RBIs than anyone on the Sox:

They will lose.

Also, Carlos Hernandez is bad. REAL Bad. He hasn't gone more than 5.1 IP in any start so far, and most have been abysmal:

Hernandez is a gas can. If the Sox can't hit him they are in bigger trouble than we already think they are. 

In 6 starts his ERA is 9.11. In 26.2  innings of work he has given up 39 hits. His WHIP is 2.03.

We do seem to be no better than a .500 team . it's frustrating and disheartening.

Line-ups out with another IB in RF, well after Engels play maybe Vaughn can't do much worse

Well, this is the perfect team to get him back on track. He’s been very good again them in the past. 

9.11 ERA? He will go 7 strong.....

at least they put an A lineup today. Although based on recent results it sure feels like 3-4 runs tops

They showed yesterday during pre-game that the Sox have had 37 different lineups for 37 games.

Yeah, until I start seeing otherwise I’m just assuming whatever lineup is out there will score 3 runs.
